Advantages: It's the best Harry Potter score yet - deeper, darker and inspired! Disadvantages: Where have the old themes gone??
...conjures up a massive Patronus, the return to the “Patronus Light” theme in the middle of all the action is odd but it still works impressively! The track finishes with a repetition of the “Window to the Past” theme. Its hollow sounds soon fades as the tone gets warmer and texture thicker and there are some clashing suspensions here that could warm the heart of the coldest Potter-sceptic. What a beautiful but still powerful finale to a great film and score!
Track 21: Mischief Managed!
Like ‘Harry’s Wondrous World’, used for the credits in the previous films, this track is a medley of all the themes Williams has used and developed in the score. It’s starts with (finally!) a theme that you'll recognise from the last two films, The Quidditch Match. But it soon goes into a quick, exciting version of the Double Trouble theme that I prefer...

Advantages: Great Vocals , Beautiful Ballad Disadvantages: Some Might Find It Long and Dull

Advantages: Erm.............things can only get better!!! Disadvantages: Many of the tracks are poor
...returns with a pointless and annoying combined track, with backing vocals from Lily Allen. Another cover, of Manu Chao's work, Bongo Bong is a message to the fans that you love me, you want to be me, but that creates pressure so you DON'T actually want to be me! The message is fine, but the track is awful!
Starting with almost reggae like keyboard intervals, the verse has a fast, spoken theme that doesn't really have any strength. The chorus, sung by Lily Allen has some musicality with a slight brass backing, but the overwhelming keyboard beat and lack of depth is very annoying. It's only saving grace is the first flash of musicianship on the album, with a fine saxophone solo.
However, the annoyance increases with the second part of this combination, with a choral interpretation of Je Ne T'aime Plus (I do not love you anymore) which...
