Some Nice Things I've Missed - Frank Sinatra

Advantages: Cheap, great value, some superb tracks
Disadvantages: some duff tracks, poor insert

...under par but still of higher quality than a lot of live recordings I have heard from other artists. Track 1, this is the classic 'Come fly with me' sung as only Sinatra can sing it. Track 2, 'Begin the beguine' great song but not the best version by a mile. Track 3, 'Dancing in the dark' er a miss I'm afraid Track 4, 'You make me feel so young' I sing along to this one everytime I hear it. Track 5, 'Love me or leave me' Bye Bye Frank Track 6, 'On the sunny side of the street' Bright and breezy easy listening type song. Advantages: Lots of great songs, excellent background music, not a bad track
Disadvantages: You'll find yourself singing along all the time!

If anything, most people will know most songs already, but also it will get too personal and long-winded. Instead I'll try to give a quick summary... 1. My Way -------------- Oh come on, everybody must know this! From the famous "And now, the end is near" this is pure gold. A great song - we travel each and every by-way with Frank and come out the other end grinning from ear to ear 2. ...Without a doubt, we all know that everyone enjoys listening to Frank Sinatra. He is one of the, if not the most famous and well recognised names in Jazz music. This CD is brilliant, it has all of his famous hits spread between the 2 CD's including My Way, I get a kick outa you, fly me to the moon, under my skin and mack the knife. It does miss the track somewhere beyond the sea but the rest of the songs make up for it by far. When some people pay over £10's for an album with 12 tracks on, only because 2 or 3 of their favourite songs are on there and you compare it to this album, there is no comparison. In total you are paying for 46 great tracks including covers of other great songs. eg, Yesterday by The Beatles and Mrs. Robinson by Simon and Garfunkel. I am a very big fan of Frank and I cannot encourage you enough to buy... Read review
