Advantages: Good rhythms to do the housework to, some excellent songs Disadvantages: Some songs will appeal to some and not to others.
Housework Songs is a double CD compilation album. The idea is that these songs are all suitable to listen to whilst doing the housework so easing the load and making the dutiful chores a little more enjoyable. On the front cover is a picture of a woman (rather sexist, men do the housework too! At least they do in my house!) singing into her vacuum cleaner. There are 41 songs on the album and there is a good mixture with something for everyone. We have songs from the 1960s including "Pretty Woman", and "Respect", in the 1970s we have "You Sexy Thing" and "American Pie", the 1980s gives us "Fame" and "I Think We're Alone Now", the 1990s gives us "Over My Shoulder"and "Moving on Up" then from the 2000s we have "Spinning Around" and "The Closest Thing To Crazy."
I love this album it has such a fantastic mix of songs, all of which I ...
Advantages: Entertaining tale of Alien abduction Disadvantages: None at all
Not to be confused with the 1977 movie Communion AKA Alice, Sweet Alice; this 1989 movie is based on "true" events that the stories author Whitley Streiber experienced during the course of his life.
Whitley (Christopher Walken) is a writer of fictional fantasy novels, a loving husband, and a good father; a man with an unusual but highly addictive personality, with an even weirder sense of humour. Abandoning New York for the weekend Whitley, his wife Anne (Lindsay Crouse), son Andrew, and family friends Alex (the late Andreas Katsulas) and Sarah (Terri Hanauer) head for their cabin in the countryside. Whitley experiences a strange turn of events during the night, and Alex and Sarah are also disturbed by the unexplained night time event that they describe as "bright lights".
On returning to New York, Whitley's behaviour spirals out ...

Advantages: Good music which shows Stevie Wonder?s different styles. Disadvantages: Differences of opinion about greatest hits.
When reviewing an album with ?greatest hits? in the title, by an artist who has used a variety of music styles in his long career, there is bound to be controversy about which tracks should be there. I don?t want to haggle about Stevie Wonder?s best tracks, so far, as I probably wouldn?t end up pleasing many of his fans, if any. (Some critics seem to think that if a song is commercially good, it probably isn?t musically good.) Instead, I want to tell you about the tracks on this album and let you decide whether it is worth buying.
One thing I am sure about is that there is no rubbish on this album. The tracks, to me, are either good or brilliant, therefore, I give the album 5 stars.
A wide range of music influenced Stevie as he grew up including Gospel, Jazz, Reggae, and Motown. All of these influences can be heard on ?A Song ...
