Advantages: Oh, please have a look at the opinion and you'll see them all! Disadvantages: There's one or two niggles in there too!
I?m cleaning the oven at the moment so it seems like the right time to tell you what I think about Marlene (as she?s affectionately known) now that she?s lived with us for eight months.
I?d better begin at the beginning, hadn?t I? Why did I choose Marlene? Well, last year I had my kitchen done. Actually, it was a bit more than ?done?; it was the sort of transformation that involves knocking walls down and having builders living with us for ages, so when it came to equipping the kitchen I was determined that everything was going to be just what I needed. After all, we weren?t going to be doing this again in a hurry.
I?d had a free-standing cooker before, but it had two major shortcomings from my point of view. I have a back problem. Too many orthopaedic surgeons have used my spine for target practice. Bending down ...
Advantages: I Like Them Disadvantages: You Might Not
1. "You're on my heart just like a tattoo"- I like this line as it shows how much Jordin Sparks likes this person, also I like this line because well the whole song speaks to me. It seems as though the words that I have thought through my head once or twice before have been noted down into the form of notes and words sung.
2. "You know I'd walk a thousand miles if I could just see you.... tonight"- Yes I know one of them "girl things" but I like the way Vanessa Carlson has put across that she would do anything to see her man. Also that she doesn't care what she has to do to go to see him it shows that her love is powerful for this man as she doesn't care what she has to do to see her man.
3. "Power in the money, money in the power"-Coolio knew what he was talking about. Everyone knows that money is power as people who have a lot ...
Advantages: Germany's capital and most interesting city Disadvantages: a bit too large, distances too long
Berlin*, Berlin,
Wir fahren nach Berlin!
(Berlin, Berlin,
We're heading for Berlin!)
(pronounced Ber-leen, stress on the second syllable)
This slogan has been chanted enthusiastically for ages whenever a German sports team made it to the capital for the last round, meanwhile it has left the confines of sports and is now even used by the Berlin Tourist Board for a campaign to attract visitors.
I've been to four Berlins in my life: when in my mother's womb I was in Berlin, then the capital of the Third Reich, from the GDR (German Democratic Republic), where we later lived, I visited Berlin once in the 1950s, a much smaller city then (only the Soviet sector), but still a capital, the capital of the GDR.
After fleeing to West Germany I visited West Berlin, not a capital any more, but no ordinary city, either, it had become ...

Album Notes
Personnel: Marlene Dietrich (vocals). Recording information: Berlin, Germany (1928 - 1949). An indispensable collection covering the earliest years of Marlene Dietrich's long and varied career, MARLENE DIETRICH spans the mid-'20s to the early '30s, when she was a stage and screen actress in her native Germany. Most Dietrich anthologies start with the songs from her 1930 breakthrough film, Emil Jannings' THE BLUE ANGEL, but this 12-track anthology puts that film into the context of Dietrich's early career. Before that film, Dietrich had not settled on the world-weary persona she presented in her Hollywood years, and as a result, these songs have a more varied feel to them. There are the Piaf-styled ballads that made Dietrich's reputation, but other songs are more uptempo, even bouncy. Fans who are only familiar with Dietrich's Hollywood era will be surprised.
