Advantages: Overall fantastic vocals, good orchestration, strong songs
Disadvantages: Arena sometimes fails to put her own stamp on these songs

I can only begin to imagine how many francophone singers must have been sickened to see an English native speaker snaffle this wonderful song and have a huge hit with it in France, but to give Arena her due, she pulled it off with great aplomb. My Top Ten Favourite Lines From Songs.

Advantages: I Like Them
Disadvantages: You Might Not

1. "You're on my heart just like a tattoo"- I like this line as it shows how much Jordin Sparks likes this person, also I like this line because well the whole song speaks to me. It seems as though the words that I have thought through my head once or twice before have been noted down into the form of notes and words sung. 2. "You know I'd walk a thousand miles if I could just see you.... tonight"- Yes I know one of them "girl things" but I like the way Vanessa Carlson has put across that she would do anything to see her man. Also that she doesn't care what she has to do to go to see him it shows that her love is powerful for this man as she doesn't care what she has to do to see her man. 3. Arena

Advantages: Some good tracks
Disadvantages: You don't get the feel of being there

Back in the 80's the world was, shall we say, a colourful place, the boys were as pretty as the girls and all our fashion sense was terrible. Still it wasn't all bad and the era produced a wide range of musical styles and legendary bands, one of my favourite groups of the time is Duran Duran. Arena is a selection of live recordings from the groups concerts and consist of tracks from 3 of the bands album releases "Duran Duran" "Rio" and "Seven & the ragged tiger" the only albums the group had released before Arena was put together.
