Advantages: Decent battle system, plenty of side quests, not too long Disadvantages: Uninteresting storyline, poor voice overs
MagnaCarta 2 is the third in the MagnaCarta series, and the second to be translated into english. As with most jRPGs, knowledge of the other installments isn't necessary. The story centres around Juto, a man who has amnesia and a war between two sides (the rather lazily named Northern and Southern forces). The war comes to the island he lives on and he gets involved afterwards. Obviously there's more to it than that, but it still isn't that interesting. It's abit of a confusing mess, but there are worse stories in jRPGs. There is some characterisation of the cast but in general it's very limited and doesn't add much to the story or the characters.
The gameplay is a real time system - the player controls one character and the AI the other two. It's possible to switch between the three characters in real time and there is some ...
Advantages: Flashy skills animation, good strategy required Disadvantages: Too linear and rather monotonous
Reith, who had lost her memory.
Exploration in MagnaCarta is simple because of the Linearity of this game. When you are in the field there are three modes. Those are Detect Mode, Dash Mode and Rest Mode. While on the battle maps you can switch between Dash and Detect Modes by pressing the R1 button. If you press the square button you will be in rest mode.
Detect Mode
This is the mode that you will want to be in when you are looking for monsters or treasure on the map. The advantage of being in Detect Mode is that you have a wider range of vision. Battles are commenced when the enemy sees you or if you can get behind the enemy and slash them using the X button. You will know that you are in range of an enemy because they will turn red.
Dash Mode
This is a faster way of getting around but it's not recommended for fighting ...
Advantages: I Like Them Disadvantages: You Might Not
1. "You're on my heart just like a tattoo"- I like this line as it shows how much Jordin Sparks likes this person, also I like this line because well the whole song speaks to me. It seems as though the words that I have thought through my head once or twice before have been noted down into the form of notes and words sung.
2. "You know I'd walk a thousand miles if I could just see you.... tonight"- Yes I know one of them "girl things" but I like the way Vanessa Carlson has put across that she would do anything to see her man. Also that she doesn't care what she has to do to go to see him it shows that her love is powerful for this man as she doesn't care what she has to do to see her man.
3. "Power in the money, money in the power"-Coolio knew what he was talking about. Everyone knows that money is power as people who have a lot ...
