Compilations are often marred by at least some tracks that the purists are going to argue ... more
over andThe Best Northern Soul All-Nighter...Everis no exception. However, ask any northern soul fan to name 10 top tracks likely to get everyone on the dance floor and chances are classics like the once forgotten "Ghost in My House" by R Dean Taylor or the stomping "25 Miles" by Edwin Starr will be in there. Northern soul might be about rare cuts of classic soul tracks or stories surrounding lost gems that were never released, but for those that recall the original northern soul all-nighters and those discovering it, certain tracks always stick in the mind. For the uninitiated, the original "Tainted Love" as heard at Wigan all-nighter by a young Marc Almond is a revelation, whereas Shirley Ellis' "Soul Time" with its infectious counting ("2, 4, 6, 8, 22...") is guaranteed to get anyone out on the floor. True fans are likely to have most of the hits on this double CD, but if you're after a great introduction to the scene or you justwant to listen again to some of those classic tracks that people travelled miles to dance to,The Best Northern Soul All-Nighter... Everisn't a bad place to start. --Caroline Butler

Subtitled “funk classics from sassy soul sisters” this album’s sentiment may have it’s heart in the right place, but it fails to describe the full picture here. Each track here oozes raw sexuality, whether the role of the singer is that of a bored housewife (“Crumbs Off the Table”) or as sexual predator (“Your Thing Ain’t No Good Without My Thing”). The titles alone are sheer class.
Culled from the dusty vaults of Warner Bros’ legendary, bottomless soul archives this is an album of twelve virtually unknown tracks from between 1968 and 1974 performed by fourteen virtually unknown artists (honourable exception: Gladys ...
Advantages: Complex, aromatic and reasonably priced fragrance Disadvantages: None that I can think of
sandlewood and cedar) and this is probably what makes me think of home and various other comforting associations. It's a relatively complex and rich smell and perhaps more one for the 'grown ups' than the teens.
My nose isn't sensitive enough to be a perfumer, but star anise, bergamot and the occasional burst of cinnamon are very noticeable when spraying this on. The scent lingers for quite a while and the character seems to change quite a bit as time goes on.
Top notes: star anise, bergamot, cardamom, black pepper, mandarin
Middle notes: mace, lavender, coriander, cinnamon
Base notes: vetiver, tamboti wood tonka bean

Well my phone is black which looks stylish and sexy, and is a slider phone. The backing of the phone has this silver backing which covers the sim card and battery and is quite solid.
On the front of the phone you have the touch pad and the screen which is quite obvious in some respects.
The charger connection is on the left hand side and is hidden by this little bit ...
