Advantages: A nice, magical film Disadvantages: Definately aimed at a younger audience!
wonderfully ?Tinker Bell? was animated.
We all know Tinker Bell from Peter Pan, so it was quite nice to learn a little bit more about her life and how she started off.
There are two songs in the film, one at the start and one at the finish. I find that these still sound very ?Disney?. They are not pop songs and I think they still have the Disney magic about them.
This is definitely a little girls film! I can?t imagine any boys wanting to sit down and watch this. And I also think once you get past the age of 8 or 9 you won?t want to watch this anymore.
The film has a runtime of 78 minutes. I think this was a good length. The film didn?t drag on and my attention was held throughout!
The DVD is available from Amazon right now for £11.68. I certainly won?t be buying it, and I won?t go out of my way to see it again, but it is a nice little film ...
Advantages: One of the best TV shows from my childhood and one I still enjoy watching now Disadvantages: The characters are a bit predictable, as are the storylines and it's not on TV a lot anymore : (
the boundaries that the character had to offer; did he come off as a ladies man? Yes. Did I believe he was the prankster with a good heart? Yeah. The producers couldn?t have cast anyone better to play a lead character in this kind of show; he was charming, moderately easy on the eye and seemed to have star quality too. As Zack broke the fourth wall (where he talks to the audience) on a number of occasions, it was a really easy way for some of his more questionable motives to be displayed and a good move by the writers to allow such an amount of self-reflexivity within the show.
A.C. Slater (Mario Lopez; 1989 - 1993) ? known affectionately by his last name, as his full blown name of Albert Clifford would sound a bit too nerd like, Slater is the big man on campus. Literally *coughsteroidscough*. In the first episode of Saved By The Bell, it was ...
Advantages: fun, interactive Disadvantages: not a great story!
simple as with all taggie books. The aim of the book is more interaction and learning about how books work rather than developing a great imagination from a story.
The first page sees a penguin with his ear muffs on and then the same penguin again riding in a sleigh. The second page has the same polar bear from the front page wearing his hat and holding a candy cane, on the opposite page the polar bear and the penguin are both riding in the sleigh. The final page shows a reindeer and on it's opposite page all three animals riding in the sleigh.
All of the animals are true to their colours- penguin black and white, the polar bear white, the reindeer brown. This sounds rather dull but they are brightened up with their festive accesories including a little bell and a wintery saddle for the reindeer.
Because they are set against a white ...
