Advantages: has a lot of potential, Steve Vai uses many effective and amazing effects Disadvantages: Perhaps not what you would expect from Steve Vai in parts
...This album is definately a must have first of all. The album isn't quite beyond words but it is very much amazing. You know instantly as soon as you start listening to this album that a hell of a lot of work has gone into it, but then again what do you expect when it's Steve Vai, one of the most amazing composers of this day.
Tracks such as Building the Church which is first on the album are definately things to make you consider buying the album. The guitar work which has been put together is phenomenol.
One thing about the album which could to some be a downfall but i wouldn't consider it much of one is that on some of Vai's songs on the album his guitar sounds totally different and his playing doesn't quite sound the same in some of the songs.
