Somewhere between good and great!
Review of Somewhere Between - Steve Green by basboy138

Advantages: An awesome voice!
Disadvantages: Only 10 tracks

...on this song, which the string backing too. It is worth listening to just for that! It was written by Doug McKelvey and Steve. David Cleveland plays the guitar. Track 7 - When The Morning Comes --- This song talks about when all the bad times have gone, I will see You smile. It is quite a good song, although by the time you get to this track, it begins to sound like all the others. It needs something new to get your attention again. This was written by Bob Farrell, Steve, Greg Nelson and Paul Marino. Track 8 - Forgive Me --- Well, I needed something new to get my attention and here I have found it. Steve Vai's newest album; Real illusions
Review of Real Illusions (Reflections) - Steve Vai by skaterjosh__

Advantages: has a lot of potential, Steve Vai uses many effective and amazing effects
Disadvantages: Perhaps not what you would expect from Steve Vai in parts

You know instantly as soon as you start listening to this album that a hell of a lot of work has gone into it, but then again what do you expect when it's Steve Vai, one of the most amazing composers of this day. Tracks such as Building the Church which is first on the album are definately things to make you consider buying the album. The guitar work which has been put together is phenomenol. One thing about the album which could to some be a downfall but i wouldn't consider it much of one is that on some of Vai's songs on the album his guitar sounds totally different and his playing doesn't quite sound the same in some of the songs. there are on the other hand songs where his guitar sounds different but the effects...
