Advantages: A more grown up mature album than the ones before, Superb tribute to Jon Lee

After hearing it a couple of times you find yourself joining in with it as it is pretty simple lyrics done in a good way. “Fall apart again, You hold your face inside your aching hands, The angels tears come flooding down again” Track 7: Summers Gone ******************** A slow start again for what sounds like a darker song than the last few. Very mellow guitars and drums with the vocals coming in early on and really lingering in your mind. it keeps a fairly constant beat throughout the song, lifting a little bit for the chorus where it picks up a little before returning to the slower quieter part for the verse. “You're feeling it too, just slipped away. Disadvantages: Almost flawless...how can they follow this?

You can really jump around to this one and dust off the old air guitar. “Come back around I miss you around” Helium A raspy guitar escorts the haunting vocals that seamlessly lead into a catchy chorus. Advantages: Amazing debut, takes many styles and mixes it up
Disadvantages: People who bought the 2nd and now look for the older stuff may be suprised

...Genre - Melodic Rock / Metal Tracks - 11 Length - 49:52 The Fake Sound of Progress was released in 2001 and never really got lostprophets the recognition that they deserved. Although Shinobi vs Dragonninja and The Fake Sound of Progress were big hits on mtv2 and Kerrang!, lostprophets never seemed to make it into the big league. The new album, Start Something, has made the welsh boys an international name now - so, if you have the new album and are going to buy the old one you might be quite suprised. The old album is very different and has not got the "radio style" tracks that Start Something has (such as Last Summer and Last Train Home), the album is much heavier and got a more raw feel.
