Before I got my iPod and sounddock, I was one of those who refuses to subscribe to the technological revolution. Prefering hi-fi and compact disc to the digital music phenomenon. However, within a week (once I'd worked out how to use it), I was hooked on my iPod and once I got the sound-dock, there was no turning back. I think it's fairly safe to say that the era of compact disc players and tape decks is over... The only reason I still have a normal cd player in my house is to listen to the radio, and those few albums that I just haven't got around to putting on my iPod yet. The Bose sound-dock is a piece of mastery in the area of audio technology. Beautiful, sleek and streamlined; it's large frontal speaker provides both volume and sound quality. The music I play on the sound-dock sounds almost incomparably better than CDs ...

Gaslight Anthem - The '59 Sound

Advantages: A great album
Disadvantages: The odd track can 'sound the same'

Say hello to The Gaslight Anthem. Dare I suggest the majority of you haven?t heard of them?? Well, some might know them simply as the band that got Bruce Springsteen to join them on stage during their performance at Glastonbury this year. Well, this is their album ?The ?59 Sound?. Released in 2008 on SideOneDummy Records, it?s a twelve-track album which instantly personifies the ?Americana? type of band. Big choruses, full of melodies and short instrumental interludes and breakdowns ? usually surrounding a glitzy guitar solo. The opening track, ?Great Expectations?, is just that. Big glorious choruses and verses that contain muted guitar riffs and snare-infected drum loops. The reference to Bruce Springsteen early is clear to see in their music ? it?s genuine rock music. Pyramat sound rocker 'The Gamers review'

Advantages: Phenomenal sound & Comfortable
Disadvantages: slightly lower MP3 volume

Pyramat PM220 Sound Rocker Gaming Chair This is a brilliant gamer chair with so many different features. Yes it does go with really well with games but it has way more uses that that. I have mine hooked upto my 42" Philips HDTV and my PS3. I play both my games and my music files through it. The sound is phenomenal! Many people would underestimate the power of this tiny chair but it really does give out a big bang. There are 3 controls on the right side of the chair, INPUT (MP3/TV) BASS & VOLUME. Crank the bass and volume up for brilliant gaming and music, i myself am a fan of loud and expensive equiptment but this little but BIG package is really cheap and worth more than charged.
