...How did I first become aware of this CD? I love my bassline music and I brought the Sound Of Bassline Vol 1. which I thought was really good so when I heard the Sound Of Bassline Vol 2. was available to buy I didn't hesitate to buy it. The first time I listened to it I instantly enjoyed it and couldn't wait to hear the next song. Each CD met up to my expectations, I thought the songs were genius and I wouldn't go a day without listening to them at least once. Would I recommend this to other people? Yes, if you're into bassline music then I think it is a bargain. Most songs on the album are enjoyable based on the first listen so if listened to repeatedly they may become addictive! Advantages: Good selection of skream tracks
Disadvantages: the frequencies tend to stay in the same conceptual space too often

...This mix is quite a hefty run through of all the big tracks of 2007 in the world of Dub-step (which is a relatively new but ever-increasingly popular music genre). The sound is from London and the UK (which is where most of the producers on the mix come from. The tracks are based upon what DJ Skream likes personally and what he plays at DJ sets (or was in the 2007-2008 period). Kulture kicks off the mix with a reggae infuse synth bassline rizing track which gets the energy levels pumping straight from the outset (interesting way to start a mix!) Next is a track from Skream himself which was popular one on pirate radio and in D clubs 'wobble that gut' with minimal progressive beats and bass-lines. Advantages: Classic dance music from the best of the best!

...What Is It? The Ministry of Sound 'Anthems 1991- 2008' is a CD set which is a mixture of the best dance songs, mixed by the Ministry of Sound, over the last 17 years. This is a 3 CD box set which contains 63 famous dance anthems of the last 2 decades. Why Buy It I bought this as I have always been a huge fan of the Ministry of Sound. I am not old enough to have heard the stuff before around 2000 as I only got into dance music in the last 5 years and am only 15 so it adds up. Anyway I had heard a lot of the material on this CD on the radio and really enjoyed it, but I wanted now to be able to listen to it in the space of my own home on my i-pod of CD player.
