However, this CD is simply the best ska compilation I've ever seen, so go back to the shop and buy it! I'll tell you why you should: This compilation contains original ska recorded at Brentford Road in the early sixties by the then-superstars of Jamaica, and the quality of the selection is awe-inspiring! ...What Is It? The Ministry of Sound 'Anthems 1991- 2008' is a CD set which is a mixture of the best dance songs, mixed by the Ministry of Sound, over the last 17 years. This is a 3 CD box set which contains 63 famous dance anthems of the last 2 decades. Why Buy It I bought this as I have always been a huge fan of the Ministry of Sound. I am not old enough to have heard the stuff before around 2000 as I only got into dance music in the last 5 years and am only 15 so it adds up. Anyway I had heard a lot of the material on this CD on the radio and really enjoyed it, but I wanted now to be able to listen to it in the space of my own home on my i-pod of CD player. ...How did I first become aware of this CD? I love my bassline music and I brought the Sound Of Bassline Vol 1. which I thought was really good so when I heard the Sound Of Bassline Vol 2. was available to buy I didn't hesitate to buy it. The first time I listened to it I instantly enjoyed it and couldn't wait to hear the next song. Each CD met up to my expectations, I thought the songs were genius and I wouldn't go a day without listening to them at least once. Would I recommend this to other people? Yes, if you're into bassline music then I think it is a bargain. Most songs on the album are enjoyable based on the first listen so if listened to repeatedly they may become addictive!
