...With Johnny Depp playing Sweeney Todd and Helena Bonham Carter playing Mrs Wilhemina Lovett, you can't go wrong. Depp's singing voice is so husky and gritty, so well suited for the part, where as Carter's singing voice is somewhat sweet and innocent for the most part, it really gives the character a twist. This amazing soundtrack includes 20 great tracks recorded by the actual cast! When we heard Johnny Depp would be doing his own singing on the tracks, we were unsure as to how attuned his vocal chords were, but as it has become evident with the soundtrack and the film, his voice is just right for the part!
