A lot of Rock - It's Shrek 3
Review of Shrek The Third - Various Artists by innercircle

Advantages: An interesting soundtrack to listen to
Disadvantages: Non Really

...around the CD section, spotting Shrek the Third OST I couldn’t resist in having a nosey at the soundtrack. It looks appealing and as I love watching Shrek I decided as soon as I got home I was going straight online to see if I could spot it any cheaper, (I think it was £10.99). Shrek 3 arrived in yesterday’s post but because I was out I had to pick it up so let’s have a quick listen while I’m driving home. Now I’m back home lets listen while writing ...
...yet to watch Shrek 3 so I can’t really compare which song goes with which part of the story as I’ve not had the time to go to the flicks, hopefully I will be taking my niece this weekend. TRACK LISTING  1. Royal Pain – Eels This first track is quite catchy and sounds a little as if Rod Stewart is singing it with a backing group, sounds very Scottish and a I would expect Runrigg to be singing – Approx running time 2.29 2. Do You ... Read review

my film of the year
Review of Hot Fuzz - Various Artists by xoxbenxox

Advantages: really funny
Disadvantages: none at all

This is my film of the year. I thought that the performance by nick frost and simon pegg was better than in shaun of the dead. it was full of action and nothing like what i expected with a bizzar twist i would have never seen comming. Some extreamly funny one liners throughtout the film which need to be looked out for. I felt that the comedy in the film was of an extreamly high class quality so if you want a good laugh this is the on to watch. However ... Read review

A dark and brooding beast of a soundtrack
Review of Da Vinci Code, The - Various Artists by steerpyke

Advantages: relaxing, gothic and beautiful
Disadvantages: sombre and little variety

Every aspect of The Da Vinci Codes seems to have attained some aspect of notoriety. The starting point was the book itself, which opened up a Pandora's box of ideas that many found interesting, outrageous, fake, conspiratorial or even downright blasphemous, depending on their own worldview. The reality was that the story itself was pure fiction but was entwined with older and well-documented ideas that, like most theories, were neither new nor proven. ...
...of anything related to the Da Vinci Code, it was going to need a major talent to be called for to create the score for such a film, of such a book and nobody would have been surprised when the task at hand fell to Hans Zimmer. Having made a name for himself creating blistering music to accompany such highly charged action films as "The Rock" and "Black Hawk Down" it was obvious that he is capable of delivering the highly charged rousing end to the ... Music and Lyrics
Review of Music And Lyrics - Various Artists by murphypig

Advantages: entertaining, good dance songs, nice ballads
Disadvantages: if you don't know the film you might not enjoy it that much

After seeing the film, I just had to go and buy the soundtrack. I had it now for a few months and I still love to listen to it regularly. The film begins with the song “POP! Goes my heart.” Which meant, I was in stitches already 5 Minutes into the film. So there is no surprise that the first song on the soundtrack is “POP! Goes my heart.” It’s so very 80 ties and each time I hear it, I see Hugh Grant with his 80 ties haircut singing it. Brilliant! ...
...is reason enough to purchase this CD. The song might not get a placing in the top 10 charts these days but it has a lot of comedy value and it sticks in your head. The second song is “Buddha’s Delight” which is sung by Haley Bennett. It’s a great song for dancing, quite sexy. It really gets those hips moving. - One of my favourites on the CD. The third song is “meaningless kiss”, which is sung by Hugh Grant. This is another song that is supposed ... Read review
