Originally adapted from John Gay’s The Beggar’s opera in 1928, to Die Dreigroschenoper, by German composer Kurt Weill and lyricist Bertolt Brecht, the score weaves together elements of grand opera with cabaret and jazz. The English translation and adaptation was then completed by Marc Blitzstein in 1954.
Brecht met Weill in 1927, when the two men discussed using the genre of opera to ... ...A CD of the Threepenny Opera can be purchased for £12.99 from most good music stores. It was released on the Decca label on 14th February 2000.

Advantages: Original London cast music Disadvantages: CD Could get scratched, some songs are long
This CD gives the whole music from the London production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Aspects of Love".
"Aspects of Love" did not last a long time at London but the music is very moving especially one song called "Love Changes Everything".
This Cd includes all the songs from the musical "Aspects of Love" and would be great to a musical collecter or anyone really.
There are a couple of long songs on this CD that are the full version and can last a ...
Advantages: good songs, good price Disadvantages: generally appeals only to HSM fans
...while to catch on to High School Musical. In fact, I ended up seeing High School Musical 3 before I saw the first two! Though I have now caught myself up and along with that I am becoming more familiar with the songs. In an attempt to fully connect with the music, I found myself borrowing the CDs from a friend. One of which was of course the High School Musical 2 CD soundtrack. The album can be recognized by its aqua blue cover. On the front, 'High ... ...you are a fan of High School Musical, but I will admit that it is not one I would rush out and buy myself. It is a good CD to listen to if you were given it as a gift or, in my case, if you borrow it from a friend. Though I feel you should only spend money on it if you know you are going to like it and you do like High School Musical! It is great to listen to, generally quite upbeat, and well worth giving it a go! Amy 2009 Track listing can be found ...
Advantages: Beautifully written, excellent acting Disadvantages: I wish there was a part2 haha.
Definitely Maybe is one of the movies that I had fun watching. I never got bored for even a second between the movie and I each and every moment I was wondering what will happen next. Once after coming back from school Maya started questioning and asking him about ... ...wouldnt tell at first, but later he agrees. But he told Maya that he will not tell her the actual names. Will changes the names of his ex-girlfriends while narrating the story. Maya agrees and Will starts telling her the story. Maya gets confused as she is left guessing who's going to be her actual mom. Emily He tells her about his college girlfriend Emily whom he loved so much but he had to leave her to go to Newyork for work. She gives him ...
Advantages: Great music, showcasing Jackson at his best Disadvantages: Not a soundtrack album, just a marketing tool
...the real life version at this point. The cinematic release opens it up to more people than had tickets for the shows at the O2 and whilst we may only get to see the rehearsals rather than the full on show, it’s a last opportunity to see Michael Jackson doing what he has always done best – put on one heck of a show. Naturally, with a film there is an accompanying soundtrack. Unfortunately, the 2 CD version of “This Is It” is not a soundtrack, but ... ...“Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’”. This is a great high tempo pop tune with a funky bass beat that it wonderfully typical of much of Jackson’s output. It bounces along wonderfully and it’s the kind of song that gets your feet tapping. That said, at just over six minutes long and containing a number of repetitions of the chorus, it does get a little repetitive after a while, as there isn’t a lot of variation in either the music or the lyrics. Next up ...
