Being a huuuuuge Sex and the city fan i jumped at the chance to buy this album, not only can I watch them on screen, I can listen to all the classic songs as well. Sing your heart out

Advantages: Vonda's amazing voice
Disadvantages: Your other CD's may never be played again

Being a massive Ally McBeal fan I used to watch all the episodes so was delighted when the soundtrack came out and I didn't have to skip scenes on the DVD just to listen to a song. The songs are sung by Vonda Shepard who has one of the best voices I have ever heard, I have also seen her live at the Colston Hall so I know she can actually sing. The front cover has a picture of the star of the show Calista Flockhart who plays Ally Mcbeal, the rest ...
...Ally Mcbeal so you can reminisce about the show while your listening to the songs. The inside cover has all the words to the songs so you can do a bit of Karaoke, although to be honest you probably won't need those for long as the songs are very easy to remember. How High would this reach?

Advantages: good songs, good price
Disadvantages: generally appeals only to HSM fans

A Beautiful but Mysterious Story, Definitely Maybe...

Advantages: Beautifully written, excellent acting
Disadvantages: I wish there was a part2 haha.

Is That It?

Advantages: Great music, showcasing Jackson at his best
Disadvantages: Not a soundtrack album, just a marketing tool

The cinematic release opens it up to more people than had tickets for the shows at the O2 and whilst we may only get to see the rehearsals rather than the full on show, it’s a last opportunity to see Michael Jackson doing what he has always done best – put on one heck of a show. ...“Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’”. This is a great high tempo pop tune with a funky bass beat that it wonderfully typical of much of Jackson’s output. It bounces along wonderfully and it’s the kind of song that gets your feet tapping. That said, at just over six minutes long and containing a number of repetitions of the chorus, it does get a little repetitive after a while, as there isn’t a lot of variation in either the music or the lyrics.
