As a show Les Misérables is flawless. It has a captivating story that keeps you hooked which is displayed in a wonderful musical. One problem often associated with musicals is the lack of originality, shows, too often, consist of two or three individual numbers with the rest of the musical being filled with reprises or slight variations. Although there are songs like this in Les Miserables it doesn't seem so bad because the variation really is different! ... ...is the same, however, because of the different moods in both of the pieces they seem different. Overall the CD is a great success and any Hellboy fan or lovers of classic and theatre music should enjoy this masterpiece. ...

Directed by Michael ... ...empty dialogue stretches.
The Last of the Mohicans is one of those strange occurrances when a composer has been replaced by another in mid-production. Trevor Jones was originally hired for the job for which he wrote his arguably best known theme. After completing a lion's share of the work he was suddenly replaced by Randy Edelman whose more lightweight music provided a completely different feel to the more orchestral Jones part. I'm not exactly ...

Barry Manilow's Copacabana was welcomed with great enthusiasm when it hit the West End as a Musical. I was lucky enough to see this musical and it has gone down with me as one of the best I have ever seen, and I have seen a few.
You may wonder how a song like Copacabana could be made into a musical, but with over 2 and a half hours of great music, Copacabana was just the tip of the Iceberg. The music in this show was full of energy, humour, some ... ...lyrics .
