Whitney Sings Gospel and is amazing

Advantages: WHITNEY BELTING OUT GOSPEL SONGS IN FULL VOICE

This Original Soundtrack is taken from Whitney's film The Preachers Wife. Much like the film it is very gospel and church orientated. The film was not as big as the bodyguard in the uk and was critised. But i am sure all Whitney fans would dis agree !!! Anyway back to the album -- Whitney's voice is amazing. I loved every minute of this album. The songs are so catchy and incredibly brilliant! I can definitely see why it won a Grammy in 2004 for the best compilation soundtrack album. Review of Chicago - Original Cast

Confusing let down, from a brillaint film

Advantages: Great songs from the key points in the movie!
Disadvantages: Dated, uninteresting songs from no where what-so-ever!

Here's a CD I bought myself, but upon recieving was quite let down as, to be quite honest, I expected more. It has 3 great songs - 1. Ray Parker Jr's title track "Ghostbusters" being the staplepoint, followed by "Cleaning up the town" by the bus boys, "Savin' the day" by Alessi Brothers. The rest are fairly substandard, dated tracks, including a perplaxing "in the name of Love", "I can't wait forever" "hot night", until the second half of "Magic" ...
...another boring, un wanted track... The last three (are what I felt were) novelty tracks, "Main title" theme - here's something that should be left on a score sound track, along with "Danas theme" and the completly useless bonus track "Ghostbusters (instrumental)". Personally, I'd just stick with the film, which is an abolsule diamond! ...
