cult soundtrack at its best Advantages: everything! Disadvantages: n/a The Rocky horror picture show is a cult musical and this cd soundtrack is a must have for any RHPS fan.it contains many of the songs from the film version of Rocky horror and is sung by the film cast.Anyone who for some obscure reason has never seen the film may still enjoy this cd, the songs found on this soundtrack are upbeat and quite 'rocky' (NO pun intended, but hey it works doesnt it).Even those who have never seen the film will probably know ... ...meatloaf (hot patootie -bless my soul).This cd contains 16 songs (original lyrics and music by Richard O'Brien) and there is a somewhat mixed theme to this cd as the film itself combines several genres such as spoof sci-fi , horror , comedy and of course musical and all of these elements shine thorough in the various songs. The greatest soundtrack of the Nineties Advantages: well mixed, stunning tracks, gets the blood flowing Disadvantages: not as good as the film ...it is no substitute for the film itself. I don’t think there will ever be anything on any media with the power to match human traffics ability to get the juices flowing, but this soundtrack is about as close as it gets. It was great when it all began... Advantages: Probably the best Rocky stage album Disadvantages: Richard O'Brien not singing on it ...I own almost all the Rocky albums there are in various languages. This album features all the stage show songs and has Tim Curry as Frank, with Meatloaf as both Eddie and Dr Scott, which vocally works better than splitting the 2 roles with Jonathan Adams in the film version. You might also recognise Jamie Donnelly as usherette/Magenta as Jan from Grease (brush-a, brush-a, brush-a). Despite being one of the earliest Rocky cast albums, this version ... ...you who are new to Rocky Horror or have only seen the movie, this album is a great introduction to the stage show, which features the same songs as the movie, with the addition of Once In A While (sung by Brad) which was dropped from the film (and having seen and heard the movie version, I think they were right to drop the song for the movie, although the song itself is well-crafted and emotional) and Brad's verse in There's A Light. How High would this reach? Advantages: good songs, good price Disadvantages: generally appeals only to HSM fans ...while to catch on to High School Musical. In fact, I ended up seeing High School Musical 3 before I saw the first two! Though I have now caught myself up and along with that I am becoming more familiar with the songs. In an attempt to fully connect with the music, I found myself borrowing the CDs from a friend. One of which was of course the High School Musical 2 CD soundtrack. The album can be recognized by its aqua blue cover. On the front, 'High ... ...you are a fan of High School Musical, but I will admit that it is not one I would rush out and buy myself. It is a good CD to listen to if you were given it as a gift or, in my case, if you borrow it from a friend. Though I feel you should only spend money on it if you know you are going to like it and you do like High School Musical! A Beautiful but Mysterious Story, Definitely Maybe... Advantages: Beautifully written, excellent acting Disadvantages: I wish there was a part2 haha. Definitely Maybe is one of the movies that I had fun watching. I never got bored for even a second between the movie and I each and every moment I was wondering what will happen next. Its a story about a guy Will who lives with his little daughter (Maya) and is about to get divorced with his wife Sarah. He is like a friend to his daughter, a really cool father. Once after coming back from school Maya started questioning and asking him about ... ...wouldnt tell at first, but later he agrees. But he told Maya that he will not tell her the actual names. Will changes the names of his ex-girlfriends while narrating the story. Maya agrees and Will starts telling her the story. Maya gets confused as she is left guessing who's going to be her actual mom. Emily He tells her about his college girlfriend Emily whom he loved so much but he had to leave her to go to Newyork for work.
