Advantages: It's a work of genius!
Disadvantages: It's taken too long to come out.

Carpenter himself regards this score as among his best. Which is true. While Hallowe'en had all the right atmospheric connotations for the film it complimented, The Fog is actually a very chilling score. It stands out by itself, to the point where the film acutally serves to compliment the music. It has all the ingredients that characterise Carpenter's work: piano, synth and those lovely middle-of-the-scale counterpoints. And who needs more than ...
...it's the time it's taken to come out. Most people who will want this music will have long since forgotten about it now. Publicity for it has been non-existant, and the packaging is a little thoughtless. It hardly compliments the amazing score within. Other than that, there can be few gripes with this soundtrack. Advantages: great 3 cd boxset with a variewty of great songs from awesome movies!
Disadvantages: hard to find a copy at the moment

...i have now purchased the Classic Fm at the movies: the sequel box set and the more recent ultimate collection of songs from the movies. I would recommend all 3, but would have to say that this one includes some of the more well known songs and films, but they are of course all extremely good! Disc 1 1. Advantages: Laughable, Enjoyable, Great Actors
Disadvantages: Laggy in parts, disappointing ending

When I first saw this movie advertised in the cinema I knew it was a Must See movie. I just bought this on DVD and it is absolutely hilarious in many parts, especially the recreation of Ghostbusters and Rush Hour 2! Advantages: Great songs to listen to!
Disadvantages: The mixture of songs could leave you saying 'what?'

Even though there is only one theme song within this album, the album doesn't live to disappoint. It also rewakens old songs such as the Chubby Checkers's Twist. It has songs that you can rock to and songs that will just give you goosebumps. My favourite song has to be Snow Patrol's Signal Fire because it just hits something in your heart that makes me weep. it does give me the thrill listening to each song and if you don't own this album, get it! ... Disadvantages: Not for people who hate cheesy pop

The High School Musical 2 soundtrack is perfect for those who are a fan of Disney Films and especially fans of the High School Musical songs. The genre of the CD is definately verging on cheesy pop so, if your into music that isn't for the young and innocent minded then this isn't for you.
