Advantages: Really impressive action adventure score, one of the best of 2005
Disadvantages: Some action scenes a little unremarkable

Disadvantages: quite a dark film to watch

...With Johnny Depp playing Sweeney Todd and Helena Bonham Carter playing Mrs Wilhemina Lovett, you can't go wrong. Depp's singing voice is so husky and gritty, so well suited for the part, where as Carter's singing voice is somewhat sweet and innocent for the most part, it really gives the character a twist. This amazing soundtrack includes 20 great tracks recorded by the actual cast! When we heard Johnny Depp would be doing his own singing on the tracks, we were unsure as to how attuned his vocal chords were, but as it has become evident with the soundtrack and the film, his voice is just right for the part! The best 3 tracks of the soundtrack are Johanna, By the sea and not forgetting, the soon to be classic, A little priest, which is the comical pinnacle ... Read review

I recently reviewed the film Love Actually in which I wrote of what a great film, I thought it was, and that it was different in the way that there were so many stories going on all at one, however it did not make it confusing in any way, shape or form. One of the other reasons, what makes Love Actually a great film is the soundtrack. A film can be great, however without the right songs in the appropriate places, it can actually spoil the film. ...

Advantages: Great Acting, Brilliant Action Scenes, Edgy Scenes
Disadvantages: May lose scariness due to open settings, No ending battle with boss

The 3rd film in the Resident Evil series was under pressure from the successes of the first two, and i'm happy to say that it delivered. The film is packed with action scenes and the screen flooded with zombies as regular points. Deviating from the settings of the prequels, which were either in an underground lab, or during the night, Extinction's atmosphere has changed from the dark, claustrophobic edgy feel as the film is more or less fully out ...
...result the music tends to be slightly different. This may not be good, but it isnt bad either as this new atmosphere builds up tension strangely be seeing what will happen next, odd considering that this same effect was created in the first two films by doing just the opposite. However despite this, the music gives the eerie feel to you and makes you feel on egde, more like a horror movie than an action movie. It gives the feel that someone is watching ... Read review
