Advantages: This recording contains all of the important tracks from the hit show.
Disadvantages: The use of brothers makes the link between the characters too abvious too early on.

I purchased this recording of Blood Brothers having been to see the show on the West End. When listening to the recording from start to finnish the story is clearly conveyed making it enjoyable to listen to with little effort. The quality of the sound is far above that of earlier recordings of the show that are available. I would recommend this recording to both those who have seen the show as well as others as you do not require any previous knowledge ...
...the narrator makes his Liverpudlian accent clear preventing any misunderstanding of the lyrics. The only complaint I have of this recording is in the casting of the Cassidy brothers playing the characters of the twins. This to my mind at least conveys far too closer connection between the two characters than perhaps is required. Advantages: great 3 cd boxset with a variewty of great songs from awesome movies!
Disadvantages: hard to find a copy at the moment

...i have now purchased the Classic Fm at the movies: the sequel box set and the more recent ultimate collection of songs from the movies. I would recommend all 3, but would have to say that this one includes some of the more well known songs and films, but they are of course all extremely good! Disc 1 1. Advantages: Laughable, Enjoyable, Great Actors
Disadvantages: Laggy in parts, disappointing ending

When I first saw this movie advertised in the cinema I knew it was a Must See movie. I just bought this on DVD and it is absolutely hilarious in many parts, especially the recreation of Ghostbusters and Rush Hour 2! Disadvantages: The mixture of songs could leave you saying 'what?'

Even though there is only one theme song within this album, the album doesn't live to disappoint. It also rewakens old songs such as the Chubby Checkers's Twist. It has songs that you can rock to and songs that will just give you goosebumps. My favourite song has to be Snow Patrol's Signal Fire because it just hits something in your heart that makes me weep. it does give me the thrill listening to each song and if you don't own this album, get it! ...
