Advantages: great 3 cd boxset with a variewty of great songs from awesome movies!
Disadvantages: hard to find a copy at the moment

...i have now purchased the Classic Fm at the movies: the sequel box set and the more recent ultimate collection of songs from the movies. I would recommend all 3, but would have to say that this one includes some of the more well known songs and films, but they are of course all extremely good! Disc 1 1. Advantages: Laughable, Enjoyable, Great Actors
Disadvantages: Laggy in parts, disappointing ending

When I first saw this movie advertised in the cinema I knew it was a Must See movie. I just bought this on DVD and it is absolutely hilarious in many parts, especially the recreation of Ghostbusters and Rush Hour 2! Advantages: Great songs to listen to!
Disadvantages: The mixture of songs could leave you saying 'what?'

Even though there is only one theme song within this album, the album doesn't live to disappoint. It also rewakens old songs such as the Chubby Checkers's Twist. It has songs that you can rock to and songs that will just give you goosebumps. My favourite song has to be Snow Patrol's Signal Fire because it just hits something in your heart that makes me weep. it does give me the thrill listening to each song and if you don't own this album, get it! ... Advantages: For anyone who loves Disney and High School Musical
Disadvantages: Not for people who hate cheesy pop

The High School Musical 2 soundtrack is perfect for those who are a fan of Disney Films and especially fans of the High School Musical songs. The genre of the CD is definately verging on cheesy pop so, if your into music that isn't for the young and innocent minded then this isn't for you. Advantages: Emotive and groundbreaking pieces.
Disadvantages: They could have done more with the cover-art.

...have not yet seen The Edge of Love but the costumes and era is exactly my thing so I decided to splash out on the soundtrack. The soundtrack contains original songs and score by Angelo Badalamenti who has been composing for films since 1973. His previous work has mostly included horror/thriller scores for some well-known movies (Mulholland Drive, The Beach etc.) The majority of the lyrics were written by the films Director, John Maybury. Instrumentals ...
...this score. It's very pleasant and the pieces all flow together. I've had it on in the background while doing other things, which works brilliantly but turn it way up and the story comes alive. Many of the songs pertain to World War II which is an integral part of the film and its story.
