CutThroat Island: The Score Advantages: One of the best scores of the 1990s, need I say more? Disadvantages: Oh, none whatsoever. INTRODUCTION Renny Harlin's CutThroat Island was one of those films that obviously should have been a big box office success with its lavish scenery, details (with authentic pirate ships built in scale) and high-flying action, but failed to get to the audience. In fact, CutThroat Island is one of the biggest flops of the 1990s, resulting in the bankruptcy of its studio and in the general neglect of the main actors Geena Davis and Matthew Modine ... ...he really hit it big. CutThroat Island was originally going to be scored by David Arnold who was just fresh off from scoring the hugely popular Stargate, but scheduling conflicts resulted in his replacement with Debney. An Iron Maiden Classic Advantages: Bruce is back, great song Disadvantages: If you dont like heavy metal stay clear Maiden return to the fold with a classic track, mainly as Bruce is back with the band, as well as Andrian Smith. The artwork is, as always thanks to Derek Riggs, amazing and posters are very much welcome:) The single itself is one of there best songs for a very long time, and it also reached the top ten in the Chart. The intro is classic, and gets you ready for what is to come, and what is to come is a great song. High Fives all round! Advantages: good mix, energetic, fun Disadvantages: / When I was a bit younger, I used to watch Australian kids show Hi 5 on Milkshake every morning religiously before school. It is a programme aimed at pre-school and primary school children, teaching them various things through the methods of song and dance. Naturally, there are five presenters, all of which are Australian. Okay so the education side is a bit young fo rme, but I do find the music very entertaining on the show! Now I do not have the ... ...I did buy one of their several albums. This one was Hi 5 Hits. This album is very attractive, a very colourful cover with little cartoon images of the band: Nathan Foley, Charley Delaney, Tim Harding, Kellie Crawford (then Hoggart), and Kathleen de Leon. How High would this reach? Advantages: good songs, good price Disadvantages: generally appeals only to HSM fans ...while to catch on to High School Musical. In fact, I ended up seeing High School Musical 3 before I saw the first two! Though I have now caught myself up and along with that I am becoming more familiar with the songs. In an attempt to fully connect with the music, I found myself borrowing the CDs from a friend. One of which was of course the High School Musical 2 CD soundtrack. The album can be recognized by its aqua blue cover. On the front, 'High ... ...you are a fan of High School Musical, but I will admit that it is not one I would rush out and buy myself. It is a good CD to listen to if you were given it as a gift or, in my case, if you borrow it from a friend. Though I feel you should only spend money on it if you know you are going to like it and you do like High School Musical!
