This has a number of good tracks on it, but the most important thing is missingd drom this CD and that is the main theme from the main titles. Chris Cornell - You Know My Name, (because of copyright issues) and even if it was on it still wouldn't be much better. This has a few good short themes throughout such as "03. Unauthorised Access" "09. I'm The Money" "14. Vesper" "24. The B*tch Is Dead" and "25. The Name's Bond..James Bond" Surprisingly throughout ... ...the very end of the film/soundtrack. Which is disapointing it wasn't used more. This has no special enhanced features and the inlay has a couple of nice pictures. This is an average soundtrack but there's not enough of the good stuff on it. This is more for those who collect the Bond Soundtracks. ...

i love this film, its whole style and themes, therefore i love this soundtrack. when the film first came out i had real trouble tracking down this cd, eventually buying it off ebay for a lot more than its available for now. however, i still think its worth it. i use this cd when i want to write, or draw as it really sums up the errie offbeat dark/fairytale-esque style of the film...which i just love. there are some really nice sections of piano music, ... ...too slushy. i think any fans of tim burton would most likely enjoy this film soundtrack and the more times you listen to it, the more you'll get out of it.

My brother went to see the show up in London just before it moved to Broadway, and came home raving about how wonderful it was; happily he also brought home the soundtrack to the Musical. As an illustration of how good it is, we have been fighting over the CD since!
The sheer genius to combine so many Billy Joel songs in to one musical- a coherent musical with a plot at that- cannot be understated. The songs render deliciously, Micheal Cavanaugh ... ...Joel himself in some places.
The CD takes you through many of the Musical highlights, each track beautifully recorded live. The music is atmospheric and delightful. The style is ranged over a wide and varied selection; from peppy jazz numbers to harder rock pieces, and even a few Classical attempts by Billy Joel, each an emulation of a different composer and extremely well executed.
Evidently, then, this is not a CD for someone interested in only ...
