when i first saw the film at the movies i couldn't believe that it could be a movie remembered not for the performances or the story but for it's music. Placebo, Fatboy slim, Blur, Counting crows, Faithless, Verve and so many other great artists can be found in this cd. If nothing else, buy this soundtrack only to remember the scene at the funeral where you could hear the bitter sweet symphony by the verve. There can always be people who say that ... Read review

His main friend is sergeant Harper, and the othermain characters in the group we get to know are rilfleman Harris and of course rifleman Hagman who sings his uplifting songs as they march onward to another adventure. ...this cd is good for sharpe fans as it just instantly brings to mind the gorgeous Sean Bean and gets me in the mood for historical adventures of passion and honour and glorious battles!! However its also great for non-sharpe addicts too especially if they like folk music, as there are some really beautiful songs here, nice for background music or to play more loudly for the passionate ones. Just as the first Murray Gold Doctor who soundtrack it starts with the same wondering music of series 1 when we are looking down from space onto earth and then focus into see rose for the first time but we go into the series trailer music which has become to represent the series. ...
...want to run like the Doctor does J! Then we hear Martha's Theme, which appears in over 6 episodes when the scene is about Martha. Just like Rose and the Doctor have their theme Martha has to have one and its one of the best out of the 3! Megan Mullally, a phenomenal singer, should have been given more opportunity to shine, in my eyes, with only a short duet on this album.
