...As you can see from my opening-sentence, I loved the music of "My Best Friend's Wedding". The songs fit of course to the story and are therefore only happy-romantic lovesongs. I especially worship "I say A Little Prayer", sung by Diana King and for the film also sung by a rough, wonderful soul voice, whose name doesn't appear.

Take motown classics such as Reflections, Stop! in the name of love and ain't nothing like the real thing, add movie dialouge and three terrible cover versions, what do you have? The soundtrack to the flop movie Honest.
There is no argument that the songs on the album are excellent, except the second rate cover versions but this has to be the biggest waste of money avaliable in any record shop.Most of the motown songs can be found on cheap albums ...

Personally, not being a real avid fan of the old Dawsons Creek myself i cant really comment on the show much but there are some very moving scenes that require the "slushiest" soft rock ballards. This is generally what you should expect to find on this album! I also bought only the second volume, i cannot comment on the 1st volume!
I bought this album purley for the second song on the album; Evan and Jaron, Crazy For This Girl. You may have heard ... ...but couldnt find it anywhere and i was keener on buying this compilation rather than the Evan and Jaron album.
The album itself has been noted at around the £11 version in places like the virgin megastore. I however seem to be one of the lucky ones. ...has NOTHING to do with MATRIX OST, because ANIMATRIX is whole different project. Although it grounds tastily in MATRIX, this one spins around Matrix's major plot. But we got to get down to its music. :) When I saw Animatrix for the first time I was stunned by its music. As a great fan of Japanese animation and instrumental tunes I just couldn't break away from its atmospheric and carefully chosen tracks.
