Dirty Dancing Original Soundtrack Advantages: Brings back all the best bits of the film. Disadvantages: None that I know. WOW! I love the film, and this soundtrack is absolutely amazing as well. Throughout the soundtrack I just want to get up and dance - and sometimes I do... LOL. It's the whole standing in front of a mirror with the hairbrush CD. If you're a big fan of the film like me, then this is the perfect CD as you know all of the words off by heart without even realising it! Everyone loves Patrick Swayze, and he sings track 3 (She's Like The Wind). Soundtrack of fast & furious Advantages: Very addittive. Disadvantages: It is not easy listening music. Did you enjoy the movie fast and furious? If it was it is also due to the effective soundtrack, that creates the right atmosphere for a such a speedy movie. This soundtrack reached seven on the billboard 200 and number one on the top soundtrack. The billboard is a ranking of the 200 highest selling music album and extended playing in the USA. Grease is THE word! Advantages: Fun! Disadvantages: None! If you've seen the movie, and love the music in it, pick up this single disc reissue of the original classic 2-LP album. I have the original record album and played it quite frequently. It's good to hnag on to, but in the past year I bought this single disc and don't have to worry about this getting worn out. Advantages: Songs performed by people from Ally McBeal cast Disadvantages: Songs performed by Vonda Shepherd ...or my continuing addiction with Ally McBeal and the fact that it's Christmas with them at the moment... A great recording of a great show Advantages: Great musical; very strong cast Disadvantages: Not the full recording; some weak voices As a show Les Misérables is flawless. It has a captivating story that keeps you hooked which is displayed in a wonderful musical. One problem often associated with musicals is the lack of originality, shows, too often, consist of two or three individual numbers with the rest of the musical being filled with reprises or slight variations. Although there are songs like this in Les Miserables it doesn't seem so bad because the variation really is different! ... ...is the same, however, because of the different moods in both of the pieces they seem different. In other occurences where the tune is re-used, enough decoration is added to the songs to make them seem original. As for this specific recording; the cast is mainly very strong. The role of Valjean is portrayed by Colm Wilkinson, the person who 'created' the role.
