Advantages: Freeview Disadvantages: Not in English much
My copy of Belleville Rendez - vous came free with a copy of the Times on Saturday. The cover of the DVD gave away the cartoon style that was about to follow. Written & directed by Sylvian Chomet for predominantly French audiences, it is also known by the name 'The Triplets of Bellville' for English speaking audiences. The film came in DVD format, rated PG parental guidance for children under 12 years old due probably to mild nudity & moderate violence as mentioned. It lasts approximately 80 minutes including advertising for the Times and a trailer for the next free DVD.
***THE PLOT***

Southern Comfort is not just the name of the most effeminate of whiskeys (for true men like their?s burning and horrible tasting) it?s also a 1981 film by Walter Hill director of The Warriors.

Things progress pretty normally until their commander, Poole, seems to have got them lost. They?re at the edge of deep lake/river/big water thing with no way across. Luckily, they spot some boats beside a poachers den. The allure of some ...
Advantages: great story, good acting Disadvantages: bit gorey, emtional issues
I really like the whole genre of thriller/mystery/murder because it is exciting and silence of the lambs is always exciting. I really enjoyed watching this way back when because it has an original storyline and excellent character portrayal from Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins.
The silence of the lambs focuses on Jodie Foster's character inteviewing Dr Hannibal Lector about Buffalo Bill, a man that is kidnapping and skinning women to make a skin suit for himself. He is clearly very deranged and odd and quite sick in the head to want to do this to people.
It is not like the others which focus on Hannibal and his feasting on other people but the plot and story is still very disturbing and sickening yet I think that is what makes it so good because it disturbs us and keeps us watching. The director has thrown in many hooks to keep us ...
