...TerriClark is one of those artists that just gets better every time you listen to her music. This CD is all about her different styles from what I call pop country on "Thats me not loving you" to a real country song on "Cure for the common heartache". The fact that TerriClark can cover such a range of styles shows what a talented artist and songwriter she is. All of the songs on this CD can evoke a different mood when you listen to them, but put them together and you just sit back and enjoy the show. My personal favourites are "Everytime I cry" and "Unsung hero", but they are all good tracks in their own right.
TerriClark has been bypassed by the CMA as far as awards go because I don't think she is commercial enough in terms of record sales for them, but the lady can sing and thats all that matters to a fan.

THE STORY OF 'O'. Review ofO [Digipak] - Damien Riceby
Morning_Becomes_Electra
Advantages: A stunning first album and Every track is beautiful. Disadvantages: Very sad.
...- DAMIEN RICEO -
Singer/Songwriter Damien Rice strolled quietly onto the music scene back in 2003, with the hauntingly beautiful album 'O', and before too long he had made a big noise in the music industry. Irish born Rice had previously left the rock band Juniper to pursue a solo career. Juniper had already released two singles and was well on their way to putting out their first album with Polygram. But Damien was disenchanted with the label and left the band behind in 1999 in search of pastures new. Rice left the Emerald Isle and busked around Europe gathering musicians to fit in with his new direction in music, in the form of cellist Vyvienne Long, Tomo on drums, Shane Fitzsimmons on Bass, and remarkable singer Lisa Hannigan, with everything in place, he returned to his homeland to resume his career.

Advantages: Really catchy pop Disadvantages: Some boring ballads
...I always thought that when Geri left the Spice Girls, she took all their life with her. I now think this more than ever, as this album is fun and good pop, whereas all the Spice Girls have recently come up with is a rip-off of Destiny's Child.
O.K., so Geri is not an amazing singer. Whoever said that she was? I actually think her voice isnot half as bad as it is made out, which can be heard on Schizophonic.
There are all of her old singles, 'Look at Me', 'Lift Me Up' (which is great to sing along to), 'Bag It Up' (I have to say that this song is pop at it's best!) and my favourite, the lush 'Mi Chico Latino'. It harks back to the summer hols of 1999, and has a wicked Spanish chanty-bit in the middle!
The other stand out tracks are 'Let Me Love You', which has a distinct 60's sound mixed with a feel of the East...
