Advantages: all great tracks, smooth jazzy beats Disadvantages: none
...this undoubtedly is one of the best rap albums ever made, the production on this is gritty but really good, it has haunting piano samples and drum loops which really suit the dark mood of the songs and the album, havoc and prodigy are really smooth rappers as well, they may not be as charismatic as say, biggie, nas, or Big L, but they are still great, they both have really good flows(especially prodigy), really good lyrics, multi syllable rhyming and wordplay, the subject matter on this album is really dark too, mobb deep rap about running from police, friends in prison, depression, and various other things, although now mobb deep have signed to g unit and are no as good, back in 1995 they were great, if you are a rap fan i would highly recommend this, if you dont already have it, you will not be disappointed...

Advantages: another outstanding album from Mobb Deep Disadvantages:
...Mobb Deep produces some of hip-hop’s best night music – it’s dark, stark and cold. The Queensbridge duo (Havoc and Prodigy) manage to consistently create their own distinctive East Coast sound which benefits not just from what they put in to it but what they leave out. This is their fourth album (although few heard of them prior to “The Infamous” which brought them to light with the anthem “Shook Ones Part. II” before that they were still developing their own unique style with “Juvenile Hell”). When a hip-hop act brings out a great album, it’s usually the case you have to prepare to be disappointed with their next release, well Mobb Deep are one of the few exceptions. Mobb Deep...

Advantages: Traditional Mobb Deep Street Lyricism, Havoc's remarkably brilliant production, Social Consciousness, Some Excellent Guests Disadvantages: Some Filler, Some Commercialism, Softer than previous albums
...From their debut, Mobb Deep have always been a force to be reckoned with. Since their onset, they have always been a unique group, and that fact has always stretched them throughout their career. Their debut Juvenile Hell was average, but overlooked, and it was not until The Infamous, that the team of Prodigy and Havoc would get critical acclaim. Many believe that 1994's The Infamous was the defining moment of Mobb Deep and the pinnacle of their sound, but they managed to duplicate it on 1996's Hell on Earth. The Mobb has managed to deliver, not one, but two extremely dark and gripping, yet classic albums. In 1999, after taking a much needed vacation, Mobb Deep returned with their fourth LP Murda Muzik...
