I've always been a fan of Spiderman and when I saw the second film I went out and brought the album, and wasn't disappointed. I have never really looked into the first one but when the third film came out I decided to give it a go. I brought it off Ebay for quite a cheap price and unfortunately haven't been able to sell it off since.
2 WORDS- IT'S TERRIBLE.
The best song on the album is Snow Patrol-Signal Fire, which compared to their song Chasing Cars, is slightly boring and uneventful. Like I said that is the BEST song on the album, so that is really saying something.
I'm not going to even bother reviewing each song in turn because there are none that I enjoyed immensely like I did with Spiderman 2 Soundtrack.
I expected better from The Killers & Snow Patrol, Signal Fire is an alright song but not brilliant like the rest of their songs and The Killers is very disappointing. It pales in comparison to their songs like 'Bones', and isn't brilliant at all.
When I brought the second album, I knew quite a few of the bands, Dashboard Confessional was a band I already knew, but their song Vindicated was fantastic, also Maroon 5 had just gotten big and so I thought that album would be good and it was, however the only two big names on this album are The Killers & Snow Patrol. It does have Jet on there, but how many of you can name a song from Jet.
As most of you can tell I really don't like this album, it's slightly put me off wanting to see the film, but I know I'll still watch it anyway.
This is only my opinion and I think the fact that it's not really my genre of music, like the 2nd Soundtrack was, is the reason why I didn't like it at all. It was a boring album to listen to, and by the first five I had changed the CD over to Daughtry.

Check out my Spiderman 2 review, which is on page 2/3 of my reviews. Thanx.

Brilliant, thanks for updating. I'm quite interested by the sound of that flaming lips song, but apart from that I think I'd agree with ya!

I don't think you need the disclaimer at the end, we all know this is an opinion, which other people can disagree with/agree with to their heart's content. Good review, although could you possibly edit it with a track listing? I was just wondering what the name of the songs by Killers and Jet were.
