11 Months after the 22 year old Sectary Leona Lewis won the x-factor her album has finally been released, Leona said she wanted to work on her album, she has done that but the big question is was it the right thing to do ?. Well there is 13 tracks on the album and one bonus track. The first song Bleeding Love we all know as it has been released as a single, I defiantly think that this song was a good choice. After it hitting number one in the UK. The song is a long song at 4.23 with the beginning 10 seconds not being on the radio or TV version. The second song is What Ever It Takes this is one of my favourite songs on the album because it is upbeat and very positive the background is a reminder of Nelly Fertado, This song lasts 3.28. The Third track is Homeless a much more deep song that Leona really shows of the range of tones her voice can reach the instruments used on this song are a great difference compared to the previous two songs and shows that Leona can work with
anyone and anything. The real peak of the song though is in the last one minute, the rest could just be classed as the build up to the great finally, this song last 3.50. Track four is called Better In Time and it last 3.55 the instrumental in the beginning is great and she has dragged it out well without it getting boring, this song really does have a repetitive beat and to some this may get boring but I think that with Leona what ever the background music her voice is so amazing that the background music just sets a setting, and that is something that all artists aim to reach and she has done it very well. Track five is called Yesterday and at this point the piano became kind of a boring introduction but then has her voice comes in the high pitches she reaches makes it sound fresh and new. This song is 3.55. Track six is Take A Bow, a song that is completely different to the rest of the album very different the instruments used are different but the song seamed to have no major rhythm, I personally thought this was the worst song on the album. Track seven is I will be and it is four minutes long and this point this album seams very repetitive with over five out of the seven songs being almost the same out of them five songs that sound so the same this is the best one it makes a point and says a statement. Angel is 4.14 and I like this song I cant put my finger on it but there is something about this song but I don't think I can see this song being released as a single I just cant picture the video for it, the chorus in this song is perfect and not a load of rubbish that some R&B songs have mainly it makes sense!. Track eight is Here I Am, this really proves why Leona won the x-factor the softness of her voice is something that you could sleep too, this song is the longest song on the album at 4.43 and it does not get boring not even on the 4.42 minute mark. I`m You maybe I was wrong in saying that track six is the worst song on the album, this one is!. It sounds like an Egyptian song I have to give her credit at trying something new but I really don't like it. The Best You Never Had is track ten this was the song that my friend told me about and its different shame she could not have put this in the middle of the piano songs because it would have given me a break, I can see this song being released as a single, its catchy, it relates to peoples emotion but overall it has a positive feeling to it mainly its not a depressing love song. The first time I ever saw your face is an amazing song again a soft melody that you could play over and over again this is one of the best songs on the album. Footprints in the sand, is the final song when I looked at the song title I thought Oh My God Help! Its going to be cheesy and the words are going to be of no relevance, lucky for me it made sense and it was not cheesy it was the perfect ending to the début album of Leona Lewis. But wait that's not it I mean how could we forget the extra track on there, the one that made it for Leona, the one, the only A Moment Like This we all know it now as the amazing classic, the original and that's how it stays.
Overall the album is well presented slightly repetitive but the songs are different to any other artists but the main question was it worth spending 11 months on well Where is Ray now after releasing his album after like a week. This album may not be the one you play over and over again but its an album that everyone will deferentially have.

Thank you for the synopsis of each track. From what I've read so far the album doesn't seem to have much variation from the songs, but her voice seems to make up for this. It may not become one of my favourite albums but I'm looking forward to my copy. Thanks again for the review!

Great review althogh your review would have a better overall look if you used double line spacing between your paragraphs
