Michelle Branch's favourite song on her album is "All You Wanted" and it will soon be your favourite too once you get the album. All her songs are original, fantastic and unbeatable. Her whole album is catchy throughout and there are no flaws in her performance as a singer or a song writer. I can't believe how many unique songs can come from her head. She has two hit singles that have conquered the world's charts so far and there is also the amazing song "Sweet Misery" which she has also done a video for. So if you buy this you are lucky enough to experience this rollercoaster of supreme songs, with the highest standards you could wish for. Seems as she is duetting with world legend Santana, she must be the best in the music industry at the moment!
1) Everywhere The enchanting sound of Michelle Branch is present in this song, with the powerful guitar in the background. This is a unforgettable anthem with catchy lyrics. Michelle has the tendency to have catchy tunes along with thought-provoking lyrics. This is the movie soundtrack for Kate and Leopold (starring Meg Ryan and Hugh Jackman). This was the first track released as a single from this album.
2) You Get Me Not as catchy as Everywhere, but this is still a catchy song with brilliant vocals. This is slower than “Everywhere” with a hint of melancholy. A brilliant love song.
3) All you wanted Another well thought song with brilliant lyrics. This is an up-tempo ballad with brilliant vocals again. This was the second single Michelle released from the album.
4) You set me free Sounds a bit like the other songs in the album, but this is Michelle’s unique voice and tunes that may make it seem this way. But again she uses thought-provoking lyrics again. A happy ballad again!
5) Something to sleep to Brilliant uses of string instruments at the beginning, with melodramatic vocals throughout gives a powerful performance. Michelle shows she has a powerful voice in the chorus.
6) Here with me This has a twist to it because it has a R’n’B instrumental to this song. This is definitely a song you can belt out when you feel like singing. Again Branch gives a catchy tune with an amazing voice.
7) Sweet Misery This is my most favourite ballad in this song, it is quite slow but it has brilliant lyrics. This is a song for your loved ones who has stood by you through out your life. An easy song to sing to and the words are easy to remember and give a powerful impact.
8) If only she knew This has a country music feel to it, with a pop voice. This is another upbeat ballad with brilliant guitar solos. Branch is never lacking in the vocal department, as you will hear I this track.
9) I’d rather be in love This is the most memorable song in this album. Her voice gets better and better throughout the entire album. This is another amazingly written love song.
10) Goodbye to you This is the slowest ballad in the album but I love it. Several people asked what was the song that was played in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and it was this. I didn’t hear in Buffy but maybe you watched it when it was one there. This is an enchanting song with a brilliant view of saying goodbye to a loved one.
11) Drop in the ocean Normally in album you get the bad song at the end and the good songs at the beginning, well this album has a difference because the album is full of wonderful songs and this song wraps the whole album up. This is a slow but powerful ballad with a element of meditation going on with a Hindu vibe!
