Left 4 Dead is a First Person Shooter game created by the game studio Valve, the same people who brought us Portal, Team Fortress and the epic Half-Life series. Needless to say expectations of this game were extremely high... ------- Story ------- The events of Left 4 Dead are set in present day America, when a contagious virus has broken out and a zombie horde has spawned itself across the globe. It is your job as one of the four immune survivors to run away as fast as possible. The game has 4 different chapters, each with a different setting and each chapter is divided into 5 different acts; each act may take 10-20 minutes depending on the difficulty which you play on. Left 4 dead - Dont be Left for dead!

Advantages: HIGH REPLAY VALUE, NEVER GET BORED, ULTIMATE FUN
Disadvantages: Silly Online people, Cowards in game

alive and is crying, so the eldest survivor out of the lot (BILL) and the only women in the game (ZOEY) enter the room, they slowly move across the room keeping quiet, until they flick on their torches and find out its another special infected (THE WITCH) (i'll go in more details about each character later on) so bill quickly turns off the lights and they try to leave, however louis makes a rattle which startles the witch and she comes running to them, they lock the door behind them but she manages to break the middle part of the door, with the witches screaming, a horde starts to soon run at them. (Oh yes, these arn't your regular slow moving zombies, wheres the fun in that?!?!) and from there, they run for their lives shooting everything that moves. Then they encounter a big huge tank, whos got an enormous body and a very small head ...

Left 4 Dead: Best online zombie game ever!

Advantages: Innovative, fun, replayable, new content over time
Disadvantages: No plot, best played online, some players are objectionable

Left 4 Dead is an innovative co-operative first-person shooter with zombies from Valve. Valve have brought us the legendary Half-life series and are also well known for purchasing and developing successful mods, these are Counter-Strike, Day of Defeat and Team Fortress 2. Clearly Valve has produced or been involved in the development of, great first-person shooters and enjoyable multiplayer shooters. As for zombie games, I love the Resident Evil series and other nice horror titles, zombies can provide great entertainment when included properly in films and games. I only heard about this title from a friend a day or two before it was released. As a new title I don't believe it had anywhere near the level of hype that sequels to classic games can receive. The game cost around £28 from Game on the high street. The price has fallen a little ...
