Star Trek: First Contact: Original Soundtrack

...Klingons and some of the Star Trek: Insurrection film but I suppose it depends which films you watch the most.

Near the end the music gets very triumphant and the first contact moment really seems to be filled with wonder and hope. The end credits track is classic uplifting Star Trek music, it contains the music from the original Star Trek series as well as from Star Trek: The Motion Picture.

The CD also contains two ...
...featured in the film, which are not very in keeping with the rest of the CD, but a lot of fun.

The CD consists of 13 tracks which are wonderfully evocative of the hit film. Tthe main title track contains the theme from the original series and really sets the scene for the subsequent tense and yet moving music. There are times when you can almost see the Enterprise and sense that the Borg could be just around the corner.

Some of the music reminds me of Klingons and some of the Star Trek: Insurrection film but I suppose it depends which films you watch the most.

The CD also contains two fun songs, "Magic Carpet Ride" and "Ooby Dooby" which were featured in the film, which are not very in keeping with the rest of the CD, but a lot of fun.
