A greatly convincing first album, stars of CCTV jumps out with its excellent music; it sounds nothing like other bands what you have heard before and the current bands you are are hearing. The sound of hard-fi comes as a massive surprise. It was HMV which I bought this disc with my gift card. The disc is common one to buy with the gift cards; It is like the new future of money since the last time I used gold coins.
The CD I buy - Stars of CCTV starts to tighten my ears for 45 minutes. Then I play it again and it is still very tight but it is after the 3rd play that it becomes slightly loose. Stars of CCTV is like the above but I will say it has a hard sound with of a surface much like punk music of the late 70's only the very late ones, and it also breaks out like you would hear of the time when it was the early 90's. Its is an integration of the elements belonging to the two different styles like a cross of independent rock and independent dance. The singers voice is a vibrating mixture, an unashamed singer who's singing never goes up too high or too low in its retrogressive volume. It is terrific singing. Of course you might be feeling a bit forgotton or verspotten about the things he is singing about. He sings of having a hole in his pocket and going to a cash machine.
Hard Fi's influences are very good and the sound they have received from them is not important. What is important however
is the song writing. The songs have been written outside, some of the most terrific songs that would fit very well with the music.
Here, I will describe each song in a very short chief with rails manner:
1. Cash Machine: A fantastic bassline with very strong singing, with all of the Lyriks incited on an undesirable pregnancy during a time of having little money in your cash machine.
2. Middle Eastern Holiday - holidays of the east is a top song which is strange the first time you hear it as you hear it to be a raise that relies on you becomming known to it. MEH is maintaining to be one of my favourites. It describes movements by the stage, still made with good Lyriks that form the song right to the end. The singer is trying to describe some stupid weapons for that war that is a terrible war, he sings about giving a gun and other words continue.
3. Tied Up Too Tight - More dependent on having a firmly caught singalong on the Album. A particular choice for me would not nescessarily be this one, as I believe there are lyrically stronger songs on the album - but this one plays the music very fairly. It preludes an occasional indication on wearing your shoes.
4. Gotta Reason - With receipt to the tone of this song it is like a shop receipt you would return as a gang concludes it to come far to their ways, with a competing gang of whom they violently strike which has been all over himself. They thus would seem to be on a mission with this song.
5. - Hard To Beat; It is certainly this song which is the one that people know best it's like a song of strong hard beats and it strikes you. The song is about an unfortunate history of envy in direction with a city friend under the sky who is hard to beat. He is not an impossible friend to beat, just very hard to beat. You might smile too much when I say this - my mother dances to this song.
6. unneccessary trouble - Making an effort in describing this song is not necessary - I will just tell you it is not one of the best songs.
7. move on now - the talent of this singer really shines on this song. It is tenderly sung with a slightly incredible feeling. The song describes at which point it is so difficult to finish your relationships. It is very strong, if you happen to still be interested in another person, to finish it is best.
8. Better do Beter - This song could not have been sung better - with improved prahlerei girlfriends as you might be having, can you imagine how diffirent that would be. Like with the contactors of an almost invisible elbow who make you sad as you would not wish to be. It is thus like a tandis of bd luck that the singer declares his girlfriend has been very misleading. A friend to do that would be like a fraud.
9. Feltham is singing out: others who listen to this song will become weaker and off their rails, if, only they knew what Feltham was like; it does not show anything like Feltham would be if you lived there. But if you listen to the song more than once it will not be the best one on the album.
10. Living for the weekend - This singer lives for the weekend. A lot of private individuals live like this. It is heard like a final clue as to living only on weekends until you are dead, your life has no more of an objective to working all week, and then your wages are spent on the weekends worth. I precisely ask of you that this song is one you should be dancing to by yourself or with others. This song becomes like a brilliant ice in convention with people who live for weekends.
11. Stars OF CCTV - you can think of the beginning of this song; it was a remarkble piece of music that was proportional to the albums title. It plays with a slow beat, but nevertheless this one is still a fantastic song which can vary in volume with great success. This song is allowed to inevitably waste itself in light of a street movie. It has a very brilliant guitar tune and the singer is brilliant.
The majority of the songs on Stars of CCTV; I had already heard many versions of on the radio, therefore it was rather strange, that I went and buyed the album straight away; It sounded like a record that is such a pleasant musical grasses then you hear it again with the versions of a band who makes street movies. A great album. A great review of the album. But one that can only improve, it is known too well as the 11 tracks, only by having more bodies listening to this CD can you tell them how great it sounds but you tell yourself to +clay+ off from the street, ++clay++ off from the car, +++clay off from the weekend+++ and you then just maintain to play the album over and over at full volume.
This fantastic album is to recieve 5 stars from me as it is one of the greatest bands around within the current year. I hope this review leaves you to buy the CD. It is of great luck that you can buy it online or in the shops. This should be in everyones music player.

Good review. I quite like "Stars of CCTV", but it does sound as if it was recorded with the VU meters bouncing high into the red making some bits quite distorted.
