Advantages: everything about this album is perfect Disadvantages: you'll waste your whole day listening to him
Overview
This album is his lastest release up to date. Compared to his previous album, "In between dreams", I personally prefer the previous one. This does not mean that "Sleep through the static" is not good. In fact, as usual, it is another great album to those who are into Jack Johnson's style or even if you've never listened to him, you'll sure will love it.
Music Style
Compared to all of his previous albums, "Sleep through the static" uses the electric sound for many of the songs instead of acoustic. However, the Jack Johnson's style is transfered briliantly into the electric guitar, still the simple strumming with creative rhythms and melodies, still the laid-back kind of voice, this album has everything about Jack Johnson.
Throughout the album, there is no up-beat tracks. That's maybe the reason I prefer his ...
Advantages: different game Disadvantages: gets rather repetitive
The Movies by Lionhead Studios, looks promising from the outside, from the nice design and the eye-catching screenshots on the back, as well as the description, which makes this game sound fantastic.
Unfortunately, this isnt the full story, and making your "Own Movie" does seem to be a " box office flop"
When you launch 'The Movies' for the first time, you have the choice to go from early on to 2000, onwards. The timescale is rather slow, which gives a sense of boredum, as it leads to you being easily bored.
As the game focusses time ( year) on the quality, and actions available in your movies, the limited features in say the 1930's are poor, and really make the game dull.
So, maybe I am being too harsh, on The Movies?
I am not!
MOVIE MAKING:
So, I will agree here, the sound of making your own movies sounds exciting ...
Advantages: Excellent riffs and vocals, fast paced metal Disadvantages: A little on the short side.
At first sight Wayne Static of Static-x looks like he belongs in a Mens Marge Simpson Hair-a-like contest, as true to the name his hair extends a good foot and a half above his scalp as though he had just been scared by an infinite number of apparitions.

However their styles werent for everyone, it was a belnd of hard raw metal, disco/industrial sounds and gothic ambience, it appealed to a large but limited crowd.
Then in 2001 they released theyre slightly more breakthrough and mainstream album entitled 'Machine ...
