It Does What It Says On The Box
Review of Lot, The [ECD] [PA] [Remastered] - Madness by mikeydred

Advantages: All the Albums , All The Videos in one box
Disadvantages: Box is a bit flimsy

...Madness are possibly the only pop band to challenge the Beatles for coherent pop writing which can be by turns serious or totally zany and always entertaining. This package is extremely comprehensive (as the title states) and Madness are such a part of the national musical psyche it’s almost pointless to detail what’s in the package, but I’ll ramble through why I bought it and what I think about it. This is possibly one of the most comprehensive packages that any band has put out. It contains their first six albums (4 hours plus) with 24 videos (4 per CD) and a useful thirty six page booklet with quotes from the band, track listings , credits and a full discography. Whilst the CDs and booklet are very well packaged , the retaining box is a bit flimsy, but that is an unnecessary gripe. The amazing thing... Read review

A great slice of eurodance
Review of Toca [ECD] - Fragma by java

Advantages: great music
Disadvantages: only 10 tracks

...If you love dance music, like i do, then you will probably be anticipating the release of this album, well wait no more. If you liked Fragma's singles (Toca's miracle, Everytime you're need me) then you will adore the album. It kicks off with the first 2 singles and from then on it's great dance music all the way. The stand out tracks for me are 'Magic' and 'Everytime you're need me', however all the tracks have top ten written all over them. What i also like about the album is that they have kept the singles as radio versions and not turned them into tracks that drivel on for 15 minutes at a time. Also, very wisely, they have not done any ballads which so many dance acts try, but fail miserably. They have 4 vocalists on the album in total, each with brilliant voices and add different sounds to the album. This album i think will do... Read review
