Advantages: Good, solid intro to the band, heavy rock at its finest. Disadvantages: Bit of a 'quiet' production.
...Fountain of Lamneth. At just under twenty minutes in length it begins crisply and shifts to higher levels of passion. I did not like it much when I first heard it, but it is a very accomplished and classy song.
The RUSH Sound
How can you explain the Rush sound? Early they were a heavy rock outfit, very similar to Led Zed and Cream and Free. They seemed to bypass the glam rock era though and still kept their rock, but in a fresher way. In later years they evolved even more, but here I am talking about the Caress of Steel age. They are absolutely fantastic musicians and the singer has a very unique voice, similar to Jon Anderson of Yes.
Rush have evolved during their time on this earth, immensely since their debut 'Rush.' In fact they seem to change just a bit each album and this, their third, is no exemption. They have not changed...

Advantages: Fabulous story excellently told Disadvantages: None
...of the book:
Tom Fletcher by profession is a Private Investigator, having spent many years in the Police force. He lives in Cambridge, has a steady girlfriend and is in his late 30?s. He is awoken early in the morning by a telephone call from his father. Nothing unusual in that, except Tom has not seen or spoken to him in 18 years.

Advantages: Neg's Urban Sports Disadvantages: Mark Dolan, The Annoying Devil amongst others.
...Balls Of Steel is a somewhat controversial TV comedy show which was broadcast on Channel 4 in the UK and was presented by Mark Dolan. To date there has been three series.
The idea of this show is that the 'acts' perform pranks or stunts on the unsuspecting public (and occassionally celebrities) infront of hidden cameras and, at the end of the show, the studio audience choose who has the biggest 'balls of steel' (who was the bravest).
I personally found this very hit and miss. Some of the sketches were hilarious whereas others were dull and even annoying.
I particularly like 'Neg's Urban Sports'. This consists of the lead character, Neg, creating a different Urban Sport based loosely on an actual sport. 'Burger Bowl Off' and 'Urban Sprinting' have been the best of the lot. In 'Burger Bowl Off' Neg orders a large amount of fast food...
