Advantages: good dancing Disadvantages: Average acting, weak and predictable storyline
Tyler gage is a teenager who is from the rundown end of Baltimore. He lives in a foster home and makes a living steeling cars with his two close friends. Tyler and his friends love to dance and it is on one of the nights when they are thrown out of a party after Tyler danced with someone girlfriends that he lands himself in trouble. Tyler, Skinny and Mac end up breaking into the School for Performing Arts and wreaking havoc and as a result Tyler is given 200 hours community service which he must do working in the school.
It is at this school doing his community service where he meets Nora, a very well to do girl who is a classical dancer and is working towards a showcase in the hope that she will be accepted by a Dance Company. Advantages: Easy to read, funny, and a great book Disadvantages: Fairly short compared to some books
My book shelf is filling up by the day, and I am slowing trawling my way through it. However, this poses a bit of a dilemma when it comes to choosing which book on my shelf to pick up next! I sometimes get my partner to choose, or go by the cover, or my favourite author. This one was mainly chosen by the cover, it's bright pink and fun looking and when I chose this, I was in the mood for something funny and a bit more light-hearted than the previous book I read (Sadie Jones' The Outcast - reviewed on Dooyoo!).

This film is yet another Dirty Dancing rip off! Why, Why, Why try to remake what is a perfectly decent film already! It really irritates me! Their have been so many recently Dirty Dancing 2 which has to be the worst! Save the Last Dance which wasn't too bad and now StepUp!
The Story:
Down and out Tyler Gage(Channing Tatum) as never had an easy life, living in foster care and spending most of his time on the streets steeling cars, he has a passion for break/street dancing but has never been giving the opportunity to shine.
After messing around with his friends one night, Tyler ends up getting arrested for breaking and entering Maryland School of the Arts.
