Well can Steps really sing? It's a mystery to me! I paid 20 quid to go to Hyde Park last summer for Party in the Park to watch a bunch of tarts prancing round a stage pretending to sing when it was blatently obvious that they were not!
We are the people who fund their celebrity lifestyle by buying their songs that sound good on the radio. Why do they sound good on radio? Because it's all digitally re-mastered! But the reality is that they cannot sing at all!
What annoys me the most is that they can't even pretend to sing properly! It is quite clear to those watching that they are miming because their mouths don't move in time wioth the song! Are they patronising us or what???
Party in the Park just goes to show who the real singers are! Let me think, who sang live and actually sang: Travis, Bryan Adams, Ronan Keating, All Saints, Bon Jovi... who turned up, pranced around the stage and mimed for ten minutes: Victoria Beckham, STEPS, Kylie Minogue...

That's why I prefer rock music - at least the music is real and the band members actually play instruments rather than programming in some things on keyboard and tapping some keys (at best!) Vicky

Steps are not one of my favourite bands but i have seen them in concert and they did sing their solo songs live. I would say Claire is an exceptional singer and faye is not for behind. Dont really have any comments on the men though.
