Steps…………Love The 3 Girls…………
I have a confession to make and I am deeply ashamed of myself, I have tried very hard not to let it happen and have even sought professional help but it didn’t help, yes I confess to the fact that I am a big Steps fan…..
I have a tape of their hits in my car and get strange looks when I stop at a red light and the car next to me hears the music of Steps, the look of absolute disgust that is fired at me makes me even more determined to beat my addiction. But then the next track plays and it’s “Tragedy” so I start to sing along with it and just give the driver next to me a smile as I know he is begging for the lights to turn green…
In work I have a small cd player in the office I work in and since I have started to listen to Steps people have stopped coming to see me. When I go into the canteen or the main office I get strange looks and I know they are all laughing at me behind my back. I can see them whispering as I leave the canteen as I overheard the words “That’s him”…
So why do I like Steps, what is the attraction to their music, well personally I think it’s catchy and a bit like the Abba of old. It is usually a cheerful song that you can pick the words of up quickly and therefore easy to sing along with…
Steps are of course the three girls, Lisa, Clare and Faye along with the two guys Lee and H. I find them a nice group with a good clean cut image and I think they are a good advert for young kids as a group to look up to…
I enjoy the videos to their singles especially the video they did for “It’s the way that you make me a feel” which is a cracking little summer song. The video of course was the one they all dressed up in Victorian clothes and the lovely Lisa was sporting the new brace in her teeth, and full marks to her for doing that as it showed young kids that it can be cool to wear a brace…
I love all their songs which include Tragedy, Deeper Shade of Blue, Stomp, Better the Devil you Know and many more. As I said earlier I have been caught singing them all during the course of the day…
So the question you are all asking, which girl does he fancy, well that is easy answered, it has to be Lisa. This girl is just so good looking and sexy, loved it when she had the blue streaks running through her head, does that make her a bluehead?
The group are definitely going to be making hits for years to come and they are so like Abba except for the extra girl, and I am not complaining about the extra girl. They are mostly followed by a younger audience and as I said earlier it’s nice to see a band like Steps having a good influence on this age group…Although they do attract the odd old fellow as well!!
I would say their last album Buzz was the best as it contains my favourite track which of course is “It’s the way that you make me feel”. That single just has a summer feel about it and has to be one of the most catchy tunes that I have heard..
Anyway I have confessed to being a big Steps fan so my secret is out, I feel a weight has been lifted now by this confession to you all. I hope this doesn’t lower your opinion of me and make you all feel that I am sort of weirdo, that’s the last thing I would want you lot thinking…..
