Dealing with the highly provocative subject of homosexuality and AIDS, Philadelphia does an excellent job of disbanding many of the myths surrounding both of the subjects. Not only does Philadelphia tell a powerful story of injustice, it is also a beautifully shot film, which has many scenes which will tug at your heart strings. It also allowed Tom Hanks to demonstrate that he was more than capable of performing serious roles as he had previously been better known for his comedy roles. There were some critics who suggested that Hanks was not convincing as a homosexual, what did they expect a bloke wearing lipstick, lycra and high heals. Part of the beauty of the film was that it attempted to destroy society's stereotypes of how homosexuals looked and acted ...

Advantages: Superb production, fascinating footage, great music Disadvantages: None whatsoever apart from wanting more
others. Some of the conductors featured are Sir John Barbirolli, Sir Thomas Beecham, Leonard Bernstein, Herbert von Karajan, Richard Strauss, Leopold Stokowski and Bruno Walter to single out a few names.
Right from the opening of the documentary you realise the high quality of the production values on this DVD as Beethoven's 5th Symphony segues seamlessly between different performances by very different conductors. Hearing the same piece conducted by Toscanini, von Karajan, Klemperer and Szell heightens the contrasts between the styles and interpretations of each of these highly individual maestri.
One of the big plus-points of this DVD is that along with copious extracts from performances and rehearsals, one is given complete performances of several works including Beethoven's "Egmont Overture" conducted by Serge Koussevitzky ...
philadeplphia extra light was founded by a American milkman by back in 1872, which is a long time ago, I am really suprised the Kraft company make a time line story about this.
I am sure most people are familiar with the kraft Philadelphia Television advert from a few years ago which I will not bother talking about in too great detail as it showed a beautiful female sitting down on a Sun Bed ouside on a warm summer's day looking to enjoy herself by eating the original version of Philadelphia spread.
So here I am now reviewing kraft's extra Light Spread. I am thinking to myself, what would the Television advert look like now. This part of the opinion is where it shall end. The Product itself was launched in 2001 with less than six per cent fat content inside. Today it contains four point seven grams of fat.
