Advantages: small form factor, long battery life, built in video camera and FM radio Disadvantages: can't play music or videos without headphones
The Apple iPod Nano 5th gen is that much different from the 4th generation. The main features that are noticeable is obviously the video camera. Amazingly the Nano's form factor is exactly the same, if not smaller even with the camera. The video camera is only VGA, nothing special, though it comes in handy and it's only about £10 more than the previous model.
The 5th Gen model also has a larger screen. I love the super clear curved glass display of the previous model, and with the new model having a larger 2.2 inch screen, it's just a bonus.
Another great feature I love is the built in FM Radio. I find this feature very useful and convenient and I thought that this was the feature that the previous model lacked.
The 5th Gen Nano has the same long battery life of 24 hours music playback and 5 hours video playback.

Advantages: Best British soul offering for some time. Disadvantages: Not everones taste.
The Soul Sessions was Joss Stone's debut album. Released in 2003 when Joss was only just 17 years old. Incredible in itself for such a mature debut at such an early age, what seems even more stunning to me was that this soul inspired album is by a British artiste.
I am having so much fun converting my CD's to itunes, listening to albums that have been neglected.
The artwork both on the cover of the CD case and on the CD itself is pretty retro, in smokey purple, in truth, quite boring.
I could write about the triple platinum sales, or the awards and accolades, but I prefer to write about the songs themselves. Just one quote here, from the respected publication 'Mojo': "Thesoul sessions is a revelation".
Many of the songs are not her own, being penned in the sixties by artistses such as Betty Wright, who agreed to work ...
Advantages: Pop music with a soul edge, which makes a nice change Disadvantages: Too many ballads
. Perhaps the easiest comparison to be drawn would be with Billie Piper, as both are from the South West of England; Piper from Wiltshire, Stone from Devon, although she was born in my native county of Kent. But this is a mistake you won't make for long. Only as long as it takes for you to listen to her debut CD, "TheSoul Sessions".
The album opens with "The Chokin' Kind", a cover of a Joe Simon song. It opens much like any pop ballad and it's not until the instruments come in that you realise this is a blues/soul track. It's a nicely laid back song, perfect to have on in the background, although there's not a lot to differentiate Joss Stone from anyone else from someone like Kelly Clarkson on this track.
The next track is the one that I first heard and which still remains my favourite, Stone's version of Willie Garner's "Super Duper Love ...
