Must admit, liked a lot of Rods stuff ever since Maggie May, but never actually bought many as the hit records came along, and must again admit, went off him in later years when he started covering Sinatra style stuff (crooning, I believe?), but when this came along, it wasnt just a case of buying a "Greatest Hits", more like a compilation of the best of his upbeat records and slower stuff like "sailing", hence both discs being named "A night out" and "A night in", if thats right, but its something like that, and it more than describes accurately summing each disc, as they are well graded to the mood you are in as to which you would probably play. Tracks speak for themselves, all enjoyable to either dance, feel happy listening to, or just kicking back and relaxing, and not badly priced for a double disc with so many track, can heartily recommend even if youre not a big fan, nostalgia is off the scale

Think the purpose of me describing it as a potential "greatest Hits" album would presume you knew all about the tracks on the album anyway if you were a Rod fan, but im not that pedantic or assuming it seems

Hi, sorry for the low rating but would have rated it higher if you'd told us a bit more about the tracks etc. I quite like Rod Stewart myself. x
