...I write this opinion as I listen to this soundtrack, the best time I think. This is definitely one for the girls. If you liked Bridget Jones` Diary the movie then I'm sure you will love this as well. Its got a great variety of tracks on it from old classics to pieces especially written to go along with the film. Its a very laid back album and I feel its great for chilling out to. I often have it on in the background when I'm working, so I guess its good for that to. Advantages: So many, album is worth it!!!
Disadvantages: Bridget Jones soundtrack2 came out later, would be easier sold as a set.

...it will ever date. i think that the beauty lies in the simplistic yet direct quality of a woman to adapt to make her man happy. 6. don't get me wrong - pretenders. i think this song is about the 'dazzle' side of love. I think the sounds are like a moving train, fast yet channeled in the right direction. A hit 4 me. 7. Kiss That Girl - Sheryl Crow. A grungy song and by a reputable artist. This song, if you like this kind of music, scrubs up nicely. 8. Killin' Kind - Shelby Lynne. This song is by an unknown artist compared to the others. Catchy and original. 9. Someone Like You - Dina Carroll. ROMANTIC!!!!! I love this the most. Would really enjoy dedicating this to my man. 10. Not Of This Earth - Robbie Williams. Again, very special and enjoyable. Advantages: Lots of classic tunes
Disadvantages: Woman Trouble doesn't fit the feel of the rest of the album

.... This is one of the two songs most closely connected with the film, and makes a nice soulful start to the proceedings. 2. Aretha Franklin - Respect A song from the summer of '67 next. This one picks up the pace a bit from the previous song, but unfortunately the sound levels don't seem to have been set properly, as I always have to turn this song up - it just sounds very quiet after Gabrielle's number. 3. Geri Halliwell - It's Raining Men The current No. 1, Geri's rendition of The Weather Girls' classic is a grower. The first time I heard it I was, to be honest, a bit angry, especially with some of the liberties that had been taken with the tune.
