Advantages: An excellent read, hard to put down! Disadvantages: I have some concerns - see the review.
spending £20 each (and that's second-hand) on at this time. Then there's fiction books, and autobiographies specifically about self-harm. Ask me about any of these books and I'll tell you if they're worth reading or not.
After these books there's the autobiographies where self-injury is a theme, but isn't the main theme. Books in this category include Elizabeth Wurtzel's "Prozac Nation", and Nick Johnstone's "A Head Full of Blue". These books don't sit on my self-injury bookshelf (yes, I have a dedicated self-injury book shelf), and Linda Cain's "Out of the Dark" will join them on my main bookshelf.
I am specifically publishing this review today as tomorrow (1st March) is SIAD (Self-Injury Awareness Day).
The Story
I was really eager to get started reading this book. As with any autobiography with pictures I went ...
Advantages: Different moods to relate to; some relaxing; some upbeat and lift your spirits Disadvantages: I only have it on tape
probably rejoyce at catching a buffalo or something and the slower sadder ones may be focussed on the struggle between the American Indians and Americans, or a loss of Buffalo for food. I'm only making assumptions here but it's nice to thing the music is telling you something.

The chant is slow and sort of 'spoken sung' liek -'oh a oh sarday, oh a oh a saray, an nah a one'. The tempo and beat steadily rises and falls which makes me almost fall asleep and with the gentle vIolin soothingness, it's wonderful to click on and get into bed listening to.
The beaty ones make me want to get up and dance around a big fire with paint on my face and a feather headdress. They really put you in the spirit of American Indian life ...
Advantages: Great pop from 70's - 2007 Disadvantages: Some tracks not so good!
This CD is a fab mix of 'girls getting ready to hit the town tunes' from 70's classic Blondie's 'Atomic' to the 80's Soft Cell's 'Tainted Love', right up to the present with hits from Mika and Rhianna...
I bought this CD for when my friends come round as they probably wouldn't like a lot of the rock/punk music I listen to, and when your making cocktails or straightening your hair this is fun in the background (for singing with your hairbrush!!). It includes some cheesy stuff like Flashdance and S Clubs 'Don't Stop Moving,' but also dance classics Modjo 'Lady(Hear me tonight)' and Cascada 'Everytime we Touch.'
The good thing about this album is many of these artists (40 in total) - I wouldn't want a full album of their songs ...but here's there best! The price is very reasonable as you get a good 3-4 hours of tunes and you don ...
