Advantages: Lots of big tunes Disadvantages: A couple of tunes lack energy
The Atlanta R&B singer Lloyd (Polite) released his second album in 2007. The record, ?Street Love? featured some of his most well-known tracks, and although he broke through with his debut, this is the album which had him really come up with some of his highest-quality work.

2. ?You?
Samplign Spandau Ballet?s ?True?, this one finds the artist doing a banger of a collaboration with Lil? Wayne, in the time when Weezy started off his streak of featured tracks designed as a build-up to his ?Tha Carter III? album. It gets this thing underway well and shows off his incredible vocals form the get-go.

It is Jazzy Pha who is seen to behind this one, and it appears that he really knows what to do (based upon his Crunk & B work with other Atlanta R&B singers, and so in order to bring in that ...
Advantages: Well produced, funky and fresh sounding Disadvantages: none
This is a band who deserve to hit the big time. Hailing from Canada, Bedouin are a band that met at Queen's University in Kingston Ontario and who, since graduating 2 years ago, have gathered a large following in their native country.
This fanbase is entirely deserved - Sounding a Mosaic is a fantastic album bringing together reggea and rock effortlessly. While the concept of fusing these two genres is nothing new in itself, the band have managed to do it incredibly well. The first track When the Night Feels My Song instantly stands out as a catchy, poppy hit that really doesnt tire on repeat listenings. The rest of the album continues in the same vein with a well balanced mix of feel good and chilled music, making Sounding a Mosaic one of the best Summer albums of recent years.
The band have definately grown since their first ...

Album Notes
Bedouin Soundclash: Jay Malinowski (guitar); Eon Sinclair (bass guitar); Pat Pengelly (drums). Additional personnel: Wade Macneil, Vernon Buckley (vocals); Money Mark (keyboards); Winston Bharat (steel pan); Darryl Jenifer (percussion). Taking their name from the title of an album by dub experimentalist Badawi, Toronto-based trio Bedouin Soundclash actually have a more straight-ahead take on their Jamaican musical inspirations. On their third album, STREET GOSPELS, they pen easygoing pop songs built upon the skanking rhythms of ska. Vocalist Jay Malinowski's raspy falsetto is an easy fit for the band's uptempo grooves, delivering sprightly pop hooks with all the gusto of reggae-rock greats like the Police.
